WAAAAY back in Halo: Reach, there were matchmaking options to help filter/curate who you would be paired against. Some of these options warned of increased waiting times for matchmaking, meaning if you chose them, you knew you might be waiting a bit but at least (in theory) you'd have a more enjoyable match because of it.
As the title says, I want the option to either enter matchmaking searches or ONLY other solo players or to be able to choose to prioritize smaller teams. I think this should be especially true for Iron Banner and Gambit, where being in a team offers HUGE advantages over people paired with randoms. It is incredibly annoying that 80% of my gambit matches nowadays are against full teams of 4. It doesn't help that there are some terrible players that won't even try when they see this, and immediately decide to leave.
This bring up a somewhat related topic that I probably shouldn't mention here, but I also believe there should be a penalty for people that habitually leave matchmade things, to include strikes. The occasional disconnect is fine, or leaving because you got paired with a group of griefers is okay, but we all know there are people out there that are quitters and will instantly leave a strike or match that they don't like. Over and over. And it's those people that I feel should be locked from matchmade activities for some time, even if it's only 5-10 min. If they are willing to waste our time, let's find a way to waste theirs.
TL,DR: I want better matchmaking for solo/small team players, and I want quitters to be held accountable for their douchbaggery.

the real answer to strike quitters is fast replacement and not getting the same strike three times in a row. And with Bungie not offering solo queues, choice of heroic strikes, choice of crucible match types and so on it’s not surprising people vote with thier feet by leaving. I think you are raging at the wrong people blaming the quitters for exercising choice the only way they can.

Edited by busta87: 9/29/2018 10:09:52 AMI agree sick of gambit being put up against four stacks. I would still wish for some sort of skill base matchmaking too as I'm also sick of being put against people who are clearly just in to complete matches for the weekly.
