Im gonna try and keep this simple. But i've been thinking heavily about how class items can actually be...cool.
Warlocks got an armband, Titans have a buttcape and Hunters have a fluffy fluff drape.
But...what if these weren't "Class items" and instead just part of an armor piece, like the armband being part of warlock gloves, the buttcape being part of titans greaves, and the fluffy fluff drapes being part of the chest piece for hunters.
Now that leaves the question:
What do you wanna do with class items?
Well... what if bungie was able to make our class item matter to our subclass and also show what super we're using.
For example: Warlocks Dawnblase, the hilt without the blade being on the warlocks hip, the nova bomb/Warp granting a special purple aura around the warlock. And Stormtrance/Chaos Reach having a blue electricity aura around the warlocks gloves.
Titans: The Sentinels have the shield on their back, The Strikers having an electricity aura like storm trance only it swirls around their right arm. The Sunbreakers having a small hammer on their hip (remember the TTK preorder exotic class item?) And the New sunbreaker having that giant hammer on their back.
Hunters: Gunslingers would have the gun on their hip, and Blade Barrage users having the knives along their hips. Nightstalker bow would be on their back, and the Dual blades Holstered on their hips. All topped off with arc staff being on the Hunters back.
If you just imagine it, it'd be pretty cool and this would open up a new class item enhancement slot, where you could find relics that enhance those supers?
Tell me what you all think, obviously this could be amazing in D3 but still!

How about we get those cool effects, but I'm still able to change out my class items?
