I think I speak for pretty much everyone when I say... recoil on consoles is a joke. Hand cannons, auto rifles, and smgs are all basically useless in pvp when compared to any archetype of pulse rifles. Its so incredibly difficult to land any kind of shot when using an assault rifle [i]even in their optimal range[/i].
It comes down mostly to the visual recoil, flinch, and recoil pattern making guns feel inconsistent at best, and outright horrendous at worst. Even when a recoil masterwork is applied to the gun, or with an smg with precision frame, the gun seems to kick uncontrollably to the left and the right.
Got an SMG or auto rifle at 900rpm? Forget about! Its recoil will be so ridiculous, you wont be able to hit things 2 meters in front of you. This makes using anything other than a pulse rifle in the current build of the game just bad.
180rpm hand cannons seems to be saved from this, feeling more like heavy sidearms than hand cannons. Speaking of hand cannons, [b]why the hell do they have no range?[/b] It feels like I'm shooting sandbags everytime I fire the better devils with even the most godly of rolls.
Scout rifles for some reason often 5 tap to kill? Why? What was wrong with 4 taps to the head?
TL;DR
Leave pulse rifles untouched. They're of no need of a nerf, but please buff every other primary. They feel like absolute garbage at the moment.
