Name: Village of Smiles
This Raid takes place in the Tangled Shore featuring the Scorn. Before the Fanatic died, he used his powers on an old Ahamkara skeleton to revive him and therefore making him the Leader of the Scorn. The Spider has been forced out of his hideout and calls to you and your Fireteam to end the plague of the Scorn once and for all, in exchange he'll give you a fair trade...
As soon as you arrive to the Raid, you'll be faced to your first challenge and that's to open the gate to the Village of Smiles.
There will be 4 Towers, one located on each of the corners of the entrance.

To open the gate you'll have to pull 2 levers that are on top of the 2 front Towers. There should be 2 dedicated runners, one to each of the 2 Lever-Towers and they have to kill Scorn to reach to the top. But it isn't as easy as it sounds, for whenever someone steps into 1 of the 2 Lever-Towers everyone will receive a debuff called "Roar of Unwelcoming" with a Timer of 1:00 minute. When the timer reaches 0, it's a wipe.
To avoid the timer reaching 0, the other 4 Guardians will be playing their part, let's get to it.
Divide 2 teams of 2, one team goes to the Bottom Left Tower and the other to the Bottom Right Tower.
1 random Guardian on each of the 2 Towers will receive a timer of 30 seconds called "Burglar of Villages". There will appear Wardens of the Gate (Abominations with Silver Plating) on the middle of the Arena, the Guardians with this buff are the only ones able to damage them and killing them gives +10 seconds to the debuff "Roar of Unwelcoming".
But remember that "Burglar of Villages" only lasts for 30 seconds, so how do you extend the timer of that? You don't, the other Guardian in the Tower will take the Buff from the one that owns "Burglar of Villages" (Much like taking the Essence form Skolas). But for the other Guardian to be able to take the buff, he first needs to accumulate enough "Deemed Worthy" stacks, which is another buff that determines how much seconds you will have of "Burglar of Villages" whenever you take it from the Guardian that previously had it. So how do you get stacks of "Deemed Worthy"? Easy, there will be a massive amount of ads rushing to kill the Guardian with "Burglar of Villages". Killing an ad ads +1 stack to "Deemed Worthy" and stacks up to 60, this means that 2 stacks will be converted to 1 second whenever you take "Burglar of Villages".
And the 2 teams will need to do this until the 2 Runners get to the top of the Lever-Towers. But the more time the Runners take, the more Wardens of the Gate appear and the less time they add to "Roar of Unwelcoming" so be fast about it!
If the Runners reach the top, they'll have to coordinate between the 2 to pull the Levers at the same time, if not, it's a wipe.
If you successfully complete this encounter you'll be rewarded with Loot, Weapons and Armor of the Raid and you'll be able to progress to the next challenge:
Almi Kovoniax, Greatshield of the Scorn...

Edited by Circadian Wolf: 9/20/2018 9:58:24 AMInteresting concept but needs more work. Currently you're placing a lot of pressure on the two runners to do their jobs, if either one of them fails that's a team wipe as opposed to the four in the center who can rez eachother. The mechanics also aren't very deep to be honest, they're all just about shooting stuff. Sure you have the burglar buff but it's not very much to keep in mind. Some ideas I had: Have 4 towers, one in each corner. Each tower is a jumping puzzle rather than a guantlet of enemies. Have a buff in the middle that a player can pick up to enable them to enter one of the towers. As soon as this is picked up the encounter begins and the team gets the Unwelcome debuff. The buffed guy has to ascend the tower and flip the lever, which resets the timer for Unwelcome. The rest of the team defends some central plate from the scorn, including the wardens of the gate. If the wardens of the gate reach the plate they kill the guy in the tower and you have to start over, either having a very quick second run or a wipe. The wardens have shields that can only be dispelled by the burglar buff, which is assigned randomly to players in the center. Like the skolas devouring essence it will kill you if held onto for too long. When the runner pulls the lever they can jump down from the tower and the encounter goes back to the beginning. For hard mode you could make it so each tower requires a different runner.
