[HELP] Resolve a Poor Decision to Ban in Destiny 2

You've banned my Destiny 2 account because it was running while I still had a modification application open for a different game(Skyrim). When I noticed the application was still open, I closed it down. As you can see from your logs, no data was ever modified or changed. There was no cheating, or intent to cheat. The program still being run was an accident on my behalf. I understand that the terms of the EULA are there to enforce restrictions on those cheating, but there were never any attempts at cheating under my account that would constitute a complete ban from the game. Accidentally leaving a value modifying application for a completely different game open shouldn't constitute this immediate level of ban. Your logs should show whether or not someone actually cheated. If nothing was modified, why ban? You should at least issue a warning or temporary ban to allow the user to know what was wrong and to make sure nothing is detected accidentally again. I have just uninstalled Skyrim completely, along with all of its mods and modifying software (146GB of data), in order to make sure this issue will never happen again in the future while playing Destiny 2. I've only recently discovered Destiny 2, have fallen in love with it, and care more about it than Skyrim. My life has been stressful, and this game made me look forward to my nights, and now I feel very sad. I'm dealing with too much already, that I don't need this issue as well. Between my daughter starting her first year of school, taking care of my mother with cancer and MS, helping my father who's a heart attack survivor, and aiding my disabled fiance, I have a LOT of weight on my shoulders, and there's little I look forward to in life these days. I'm upset because I finally found a refuge, and it was taken from me. No harm was ever done -- No harm to the community, the players, the developers, or anyone else. Please remove this with the understanding that I am someone of a respectful nature, honest, and understanding of the EULA. I at least do understand that there was an accident on my end, as innocent as it was. We should be able to work this out. Thank you for your time, consideration, and understanding. Blizzard understood, but they couldn't do anything and they need to do something on the Bungie side of things. BATTLETAG: JiuJitsu#11338

  • I feel for you, but bans are permanent. They won't talk with you about them. Your recourse is to start a new account, if you so choose.
