Seriously, it’s so bad to see how inconsistent umps can be. We have the technology available, it’s time to stop umps from determining a pitch. The home plate umpire wouldn’t even go away, but instead would be told through a device whether a pitch was a ball or strike.
With pitchers becoming more precise and having a better arsenal of moving the ball, the strike zone should stay consistent.
What do you guys think?

I've seen some sports channels that super impose the strike zone onto the screen, but I don't think the umps have access to it. Making everything more and more automated kinda takes the charm away from sports. But doing so on baseball isn't a bad thing. Football has had the ability to review plays for a long time now. NASCAR has implemented cameras and designated officials to watch every single pit stop to assess any possible rules infractions for; -a crew member being in the pit box too early -loose tire violation -too many pit crew over the wall -any equipment leaving the pit box -improperly tightened lugs (the air gun has a torque monitor on it, measuring the lug nut tightness as well as how many it turned) -pit road speeding violations via timing devices every hundred feet of so the length of pit road -improper adjustments made to the vehicle -....., yes there are more It makes the sport safer, but also keeps everybody legit.
