Bungie, if you want destiny 2 to reach its full potential bring back the last word please what’s the most annoying thing in this game but still needs to be there: shotty warriors what’s the best counter to them: the LASTWORD. To be 100% honest with you I can not think of a time for fun in Gaming for me than running around with a last word and sniper in destiny 1, which I’m sure many people agree. Bungie, bungie, bungie, don’t F up I’m telling you it will make a lot of people and I mean a lot of people happy if you bring it back mabey even bring back people to destiny 2 period. Thanks for all the changes that we’re good in forsaken already keep the game how it is just bring back THELASTWORD. Sincerely,
nReedn, Giantalmond, Realkraftyy, THELASTWORD.

Does anyone remember how broken it was? Let that garbage die.
-
Shorty warriors aren't a problem.
-
If they bring back last word then they’ve got to bring back thorn too, just cuz of the lore purposes of those two guns
-
No matter how many times it got nerfed it was still stupid, op, and skilless. "Oh no, muh radar red, better hold muh trigger even if 1 bullet killed them, gotta panick and git duh kill." I mever hated thorn, or hawkmoon, but TLW should stay dead. Forever. And ever.
-
Yes, bring back the gun that sweats and try hards use to break the game. Then the hunters can hold the trigger down till the clip is empty, dodge and spam the clip down once again. Sounds so fun. The last word was a huge issue in D1 since that’s all you ever saw in trials. Guns that are overused does not = fun. I want new weapons that are fun to use, not weapons that ruin crucible. TLW + 1000 yard stare meta was HORRIBLE.
-
I’m all about that Vex Mythoclast
-
Move on from your D1 cutch and learn to use other guns.
-
Rather they bring back hawkmoon
-
Um...why? I'm not being a dick, I'm seriously asking, why would you want TLW back in D2 as things stand? What place would it occupy? It was always the close quarters king back in the day, but with the possibility of 3-shot burst sidearms with high cal rounds, SMGs in general, and the 180 hand cannon archetype, it doesn't have a place like it did in D1. It might have a better kill time than some of those options, but with a combo of the headshot requirements under this system, and the relative ease of use of the other weapons compared to TLW, I think it would feel like the Suros does right now: a lackluster novelty that has definitely seen better days. Also, if Realkraftyy wants to make his opinion known, he'll do so all on his own, with no assistance from anyone needed. Name dropping someone who has been a very successful content creator is not only disingenuous, it's also using someone else's accomplishments for your own ends.

The fact the phrase "last word" is used five times in the expansion's story had me convinced it would be here.
-
Even if it's nerfed to all hell, please yes. I loved my Last Word more than anything in the world. I loved it mostly because of the animations & feel. It felt amazing to use, not because it was strong, but because it was so different. Though I'm probably alone in this, I didn't play much of Trials but 99% of what I did play were snipers, scouts, & pulses. It seems like people just wanted the meta to be longer range. And that's fine but what about those of us who enjoy close range combat? The Last Word was my only defense against shotgun slinging Titans. I just don't see why it's so horrible to bring back a gun that literally has some of the worst range fall-off in exchange for some fun, cowboy shooting. The Ace of Spades would be the better, more meta gun right now guaranteed. But then again I wasn't super into Trials or Rumble at the time & even now. Anyways, here's hoping it returns in Black Armory.
-
I bet ya that we’ll see The First Curse before TLW just because Bungie.
-
As much as I’d like it.. the ace of spades would probably disappear into the background. Unless they nerf it to shit. Maybe the range?
-
I believe the Last Word will be in the Black Armory DLC, along with some other fan favorites. I mean, they can't bring the Chaperone back and NOT bring the Last Word. Fingers crossed.
-
Use the ikelos hand cannon from the warming expansion. Pretty close
-
No... no, just no. Nonononononononononono... No. no. Niet. Nope, nada. Not gonna happen
-
It's my main gun. Yes please, i -blam!-ing miss it.
-
I remember a post on here from someone who found a legendary that was essentially a legendary last word. It may not be what you were hoping for, but if can get your hands on one with the right roll, then you could have something VERY close, and still have you exotic slot free
-
It's interesting that near the end of the story, the phrase "The Last Word" is actually said. Who knows if they'll bring it back. It's basically like a side arm or SMG now. Wouldn't stand out as much.
-
Best counter is telesto. Fight me on it.
-
Have you not heard about the crucible quest for lunas howl.... it’s basically last word but legendary
-
They did it's called the ace of spade It's a baby of ace from d1 and the last word it's just not as spamy and not as heavy hitting it's in between both
-
-
I hate that weapon, but it could beat players using Luna's Howl or Not Forgotten, so I dunno...
-
This was the worst gun possible for keeping variety in the crucible. Even now the GL meta is pretty much over. Why bring back an obvious meta gun. Unless they make it worse. Like a lot worse.
