Alright, alright. Let’s have a little chit chat about some things. The first is a little appreciation I have for the quests to obtain redrix year 2 variant. Absolutely wonderful that I have a opportunity to obtain something I missed out on. The second is that the new Luna’s howl and not forgotten I also once again a good step for good weapons in the crucible. Here is where we delve into areas that may see some need for improvement.
1. The Glory/infamy/valor systems.
It is no surprise that the best loot is often times locked behind some impressive walls and gates. The systems that must be conquered firstly to obtain those treasured items. While the infamy systems takes little time to grind out, the valor and glory systems see a bit of a different problem. In this year you even went as far as to add bounties that benefited your rank in gambit... why were these skipped over for the crucible side of things. These systems take more time than the systems of the gambit infamy rank to conquer due to the facts that:
-points are very minuscule even for a win
-glory goes in reverse for losing and making the grind worse than it really should be
While I am sure most players will attack me rather than debate my argument at this point, we need to remember that there are parts of game design that often time fall up short of a good product. Often time we think a system will be fine the way it is rather than consider the masses in this situation. Which leads to my next point:
2. The paid scheme!
Players often times resort to relying on the destiny crucible experts, or ‘tryhards, as some would rather call them. I refer to these guys as experts, or pros due to the reason that they do what the are good at. The problem here is that with this quest comes a new era of account recovery opportunities for these streamers and pros. This issue has been a revisited problem with trials of the nine, likely one of a long list of reasons that season 4 will not be hosting trials this time. However, this does not stop these groups from doing their work in the long run. Rather, feeds fuel to the wild fire. Whether we choose to admit this is an issue or not is entirely up to the community, and by extension bungie.
3. Extreme or High requirements.
The systems are one of a number extremes in this post. Other requirements list the needs for double kills. This only works on a double play or double assist play. Getting a higher kill than 2 does not benefit the the quest step. Other extreme are listing percentages rather than a solid number. The requirement of Rumble, Quickplay, and Competitive completions. 25 each rounding off at 75 total matches of pvp. A bit to high for the average player base. Other than these prominent issues, I can’t really name anything off the top of my head. Now lest delve into how these can be improved.
Firstly, the glory reverse, or rank points being lost should be limited to quitting. “Everyone fights, nobody quits” I believe was said back in trials of Osiris. You won’t gain points unless you win, but you will not lose them for losing the matches you play.
-add bounties to help the rank along the forward path. A saying I live by is ‘the some of the parts make up the whole’ what this means is that if one area come up short, the rest will likely suffer as well. If you are going to do it for one thing, you must do it for the rest.
-slightly increased points for wins to assist in the endeavor. It should be grindy, but not quite that grindy or people fall away from it.
-reduction in certain high or extreme requirements. I believe bungies words were to provide a way that was a bit more manageable for the community to obtain the weapon so as the encourage the player base to participate in the quest. We can clearly see that the opposite has happened for some in these forums.
If you agree with what I said, please upvote this post. If you find something that i missed, or think that something else should be added, please leave a comment. If you decide that you would like to come at this post for the sake of attacking me as a player, or otherwise spreading bile, please save us all the trouble and just continue along the forums. Let’s hope that this trends.
Edit: so I just searched on google the Luna’s howl and wouldn’t you know it, found a link to a service to account recover and carry you to the desired crucible glory rank. Not only that, the service cost someone $400 just to carry them to fabled. Link here just so Bungie can see that this actually is happening at their expense and rather humorous loss.

Honestly they just need to really reduce the amount of glory you lose. Or make it so there are points you can't go backwards. Like let's say you are on guardian 2 glory rank. You are 3/4 of the way to guardian 3. If you lose you shouldn't drop all the way back to guardian 2. Create check points in a sense. So as soon as you get to the next rank you won't be able to go back to the previous rank. Instead you start back at 0 glory of your current rank. Instead of going to the previous rank.

Wish they changed glory not losing points iv been playing on brave for 5 hours and it never really moved all ways been win, lose, win, lose or multiple losses. Not very much players are gonna get Lucas howl and bungie wi br disappointed again that very little players even got it. For me I'm about to give up because I'm never gonna get it or to legendary.
