Todays the day. Destiny 2’s largest DLC to date, Forsaken, will drop for all guardians to enjoy later today. I’m facing a decision that I am unable to make on my own. Just a little information about me, I am 17 and am in my senior year of high school. I plan on going to college next year to pursue a career in mechanical/biomedical engineering. I also play basketball and am active in my high school community. This matter surfaced recently. I had my wisdom teeth removed on Friday. The recovery process gave me a lot of spare time that I’m not used to having. So I decided to give Destiny 2 another try before the DLC (I had heard about it) dropped. This was my first time playing in over two months. I stopped playing at the time of Curse of Osiris because I could not pay for the Expansion. Keep in mind I have been a part of the Destiny community since Day 1 of the prequel. I spent countless hours grinding this game only for it to come to an abrupt end a couple months ago. The appeal of the new Forsaken has brought my interest back. I would love to get back into the game I’ve enjoyed for so long but I realize that I am severely under-leveled and time is scarce. So, all being said, I am faced with this decision: Should I spend the $60 to come back even though it may not be in my best interest? Decision will be made right before release. Please feel free to leave any other feedback below! Thank you so much for your input!
Edit: My dog passed this morning to make matters worse
