Stolen from my brother. King_currly psn
The year is 2014. The memories of the destiny alpha and beta are flooding our brains with excitement. What happens after the first mission? Are there more rarities than blue? We've only seen one exotic the weapon master had called red death. Is there more? We will soon find out at 12:01 am. Nothing else in the world matters more than this day. Nervously waiting in line at gamestop, destiny is finally in your hands. Rush back to our ps4 and frantically jump into party chat awaiting for everyone to arrive. As you check your friends list one by one destiny: earth tower shows up under their names... finally. It's time to start the game. You are greeted with the most beautifully composed soundtrack you've ever heard and the menu transitions into the words DESTINY. The menu prompts you to press x. As you do, nothing can prepare you for the laughs, triumphs, frustration, greatest moments, clutch wins, new friends, enemies, and bonds for years to come. Though many of us will leave. There is just something about obtaining the newest exotics, beating the next raid boss or awaiting cayde-6' newest sarcastic remarks. Whatever the reason may be, this is the game we love. through the droughts, the nerfs, the patches and DLCs. This is our game. This is Destiny.
Edit:
Thanks so much for the support! Lets make this game a hobby again! I love the community!
What was your favorite or most memorable moment of D1 or D2 so far!?!?
Edit:
Seeing the ??? Knights in the cosmodrome was probably the most frightening yet stunning thing that I remember!
Tbh. Forsaken feels like a new game!

I remember loading up D1 on launch day. I was never so excited for a game before. My brothers showed me what Destiny was. I remember all the raids, laughs, fails, rages and screaming when I finally got that last piece of raid gear. I remember buying like 20 Mida’s when Xur sold them. D1 was a trip and I’d love to relive it.
