You do know what reskin means right? Claymore is not a reskin at all. New unique perks = not a reskin. Broadsword isn't even a reskin. It's a remake.

He's reffering to the base model which was reused from d1 New perks are cool but when they're strapped onto the same base model from 4 years ago it kinda removes part of the excitement
-
Reskin means applying a different skin to a new weapon. Not using a previous skin on a new weapon.
Reskin means applying a different skin to a new weapon. Not using a previous skin on a new weapon.
This is very confusing Applying a different skin and previous skin are the same. Unless by different you mean new? But then "a different skin to a new weapon" is the opposite of a reskin? Anyway redrix is a reskin of some guns from from d1, three little words and praydths timepiece had the same skin. That is what he means when he says reskin, the perks itself on a reskinned weapon don't matter, the skin is an old one (hence reskin)
-
It’s not a reskin it’s a gun. Tell me how many times you played cod and noticed the same “gun” I’m a different game.
-
The model has been taken off praydths timepiece and three little words. Reskin. Reused skin

Like I said, "reskinning a weapon" means applying a different skin to the same weapon. If the weapon is not the same, AKA new perks, it can't be a reskin of a previous weapon. Sure it may reuse an asset that was in D1, but it's definitely not a reskin.
Reskin, as in reusing the skin
Reskin = Replace skin, not reuse skin. It's a term that has existed for decades. People need to stop using reskin to mean reusing assets.
-
The terminology has been off agreed but that's just how it's been for 4 years and it's what destiny folks are used to saying, just explaining what he meant to say is all
-
Well I understand being upset about reusing assets, but to not care about claymore because it uses Timepiece's frame? That makes no sense. Gun looks don't matter at all in terms of power. Desperado is what makes the weapon desirable, not the appearance of it.
-
Yes I agree, it's the perks that matter and in fact I like the frame they've reused, nice red dot sight too
-
Not when it shreds people xD
