I'm sure we have all experienced this, maybe some more than others. Spawning near, in front or or even in line of sight of an enemy in crucible.
I don't claim to be great at crucible, but sometimes I like to play. That desire is immediately ruined when I die and then spawn in front of an enemy or in the midst of a firefight, or even next to an enemy with an active Super.
It's not a good feeling. I would rather spawn farther from a fight and be able to orient myself than spawn in the middle of one and be Titan Smashed. Spawning next to enemies removes my agency as a player and gives it to the game. I have no control of where I spawn and often, I spawn somewhere that immediately leads to an unavoidable death.
If this isn't something that can be fixed with algorithm tweaks, then maybe the map design should be looked at to ensure there are safer, more removed locations, especially in 6v6 game modes. As much as I love and prefer 6v6 to 4v4, if a map can't handle that many players elegantly, it should not be forced to handle that many players.
Hopefully this is something that can be looked into, since PVP is a major aspect of this game and should have a much higher appeal as far as game-play flow while in a match. I should feel challenged by other players, not be sidetracked by poor map mechanics.
