Eyes up Guardian! With Forsaken coming live in hours, we are looking to reinvigorate (we like that word, we "old" guys) our ranks. We have 20 spots opened in the clan, and the community itself is opened for anyone who shares our vision (keep reading to see what that is), even if you don't feel quite sure you are yet ready to fly our banner. We've been together since the D1Y1, and we are proud to have kept a pretty clean house. Hundreds of players have met and made long lasting friendships in the Doghouse. Many are still with us, some moved on together an created their own clans with different focuses, or even different games, and we are proud of having been a part of their journeys. We play together and we hear each others' children playing, shouting, crying in the back, we hold our ground while someone suddenly drops the control to go change a diaper, clean puke, put the kids to sleep, or if someone needs to completely drop out to go deal with life... AND WE DON'T WHINE ABOUT IT That being said, being a dad (or even a man for that matter) is not a requirement. Being an adult about gaming IS. We play games to relax after work (at a job or at home, family is also hard work). We all have had experience with annoying little punks insulting, criticizing, shouting into the mic, sending threatening PMs. So we come together here to stay away from them. There are also lots of different levels of skill. We believe the only way for everyone to get better, is to help them get better. So if someone screws up, has no idea what is going on in a raid, gets killed a few too many times, can't complete a quest on their own, can't jump through a jumping puzzle... we help them, we teach them, we are patient... And when all is well and done, it's a go for a little banter! BUT WE DON'T WHINE ABOUT IT Destiny, as cool as it is, it's just a game. Real life should and will always take priority one. So if you don't have a life and gaming is everything to you, you can turn around and go somewhere else. Besides in-game hang outs, we spent a lot of time (too much some of our spouses might argue) in our Discord server, both to plan gaming as much as talking about random stuff.
