Hi,
I've never been a Crucible player, even in D1, but I think Gambit could change my mind. Played the trial on the weekend (thanks for the quick look) and enjoyed it quite a bit. Managed to play 5 games in the time I had available.
The problem is, that on 2 of these occasions, half way through the game, the 4 man team I was on turned into a 2 man team, half the team (term used loosely) quit! The opposition kept depositing tokens to the extent that the platform had so many blockers on it you couldn't get on it yourself to fight them (found a sword very useful).
Very disappointed with the quitters! Good on the other team for keeping it together.
I'm by no means a great player, perhaps not even a good player, but if you agree to play with others you should stick around and play with them. I know its only a game, but geez, come on, show some sportsmanship.
I hope the quitter penalties in the game kick them in the ......

It might have been quitters, might have been disconnects. The servers were seriously slammed yesterday, and there were a TON of disconnects. There were times where a game started, and during the part where the teams see each other, 3 of my clanmates were disconnected at once, leaving me alone. I've also seen this happen on the other team, as well. TBH I think it was just too much for the servers to handle - I'm not sure Bungie expected the player turnout they got for Gambit.
