How did we get to this SHIT of crucible?
I am a D1 year 1 player and this is by far the worst step backwards I have ever seen in a game period.
Bungie you should really stop listening to those nostalgic D1 PvP crying whiners, you have so many clever people working there I cannot believe that you have listened to the insanity of players who actually were not even playing Destiny2 at all because they were too busy complaining here.
We completely lost team playing. Before you could coordinate with your teammates, now everyone is running around with a shotty and no team mate cares about what the others are doing. Basically all the playlists are reduced to a royal rumble at "who can pull the ep shotgun faster".
Reducing the ttk was (and still is) a colossal mistake. What's the point of it?!? Reducing the skill gap?? And for what reason??
I feel like Bungie had a very good tactical PvP and it trashed it completely for the sake of ...what? Get players back? Those players have already abandoned Destiny!!
The crucible could have been improved but it certainly didn't need "to be fixed" because it was not broken.

6 RepliesCompletely agree. Asking players that have been used to what they created for almost a year, to suddenly adjust to a twenty four seven, power ammo economy is simply baffling to me. This is a studio that clearly, once again, does not understand nuance. When there is a change it is always in the most furthermost direction. And players have the nerve, after three days to suggest that this is about skill? That is absurd and laughable. My Kd has sunk like the Titanic in the past two days, and one honestly expects me to believe that I became trash at the game overnight? Umm no. This is poor balancing, it's bad matchmaking, it's lag, and it's a poorly tuned weapon system and economy, period. It's not the players.

Its terrible. The worst its ever been I understand Bungie is addressing the matchmaking and time issues. But damn ever match goes to time. Unless and more likely you get dropped into a match about to have the team you spawn into get mercied just in time to het spawn killed bu super. Or you spawn in 2 mean short and watch the team disappear around you...new team members spawn in see you by yourself or on a short team and they bounce asap. This is terrible. This not a skill thing. Heck some times im on a team steam rolling other guardians...its just a mess right now.

I don’t think this crucible is really ready to be judged. I say wait until the dlc drops. This is all prep stuff. I haven’t played any crucible since the last update. I’m waiting for the wall hacking bow 😜

Lol all the nuthuggers complaining they can't pub stomp with a premade team anymore. The slow ttk and team shotting meta drove people away. Now it's changed perhaps you go away and play rainbow six. Reality check, bungie is not going to revert anytime soon. So you and your padded kd can go.

meh. I disagree. the update feels like destiny again. If you want legacy halo gameplay maybe this isnt the game for you. How did you tolerate three years of the first game if the forsaken sandbox isnt acceptable?
