Forsaken Pricing..
Please correct me if I'm wrong.. but when Forsaken was announced, wasn't the pricing like $40 for base or $70 for base+annual pass bundle?
I go and look in the xbox store and what i see is $60 for the base expansion, and then a bundle of the base + annual pass for $100. Are you serious?
The base expansion is priced as a new game. We are getting 1 planet (same as last two expansions), some campaign missions, weapons/armor, raid, quality of life changes, and some new game modes. Where is the value in Forsaken compared to a completely new game? Because that is how it's priced.
And the annual pass is $40 and cannot be purchased separately. Wow. So it's really $60 for content that won't be updated or $100 up front for the hope of quality content in the future, same as before D2 released.
I generally enjoy the game, and I want to get Forsaken at the start because if I wait then all the secrets and strategies will be found and spoiled.. but after seeing this *expansion* be priced the same as a brand new game, or the bundle even MORE than the "deluxe" version of D2.. I just cannot justify supporting that pricing model.
Bad form Activision.

If you're looking just for the Forsaken expansion - on your console, go to the store and search on Forsaken. That should return the stand-alone expansion ($40).
