I know this isn't a popular opinion, but I hate the crucible and I'm not a fan of PvP. However, to get items such as exotic catalysts or the Solstice armor, you're forcing me to bang my head against a wall. Why can't there be split requirements? Such as 10 Cruicible Kills OR 50 Enemy Kills. 30 Super Crucible Kills or 30 heavy enemy kills. Something along those lines so those of us that are just here for the PvE and playing with friends don't have to do a painful and frustrating grind constantly getting stomped in a game mode we don't want to play in the first place.

Im in the same boat. I will be resetting my crucible rank today and still not even a glimpse of a catalyst. I hate crucible, but i want the jr catalyst so im forced to play and play until rng decides that its my time. This needs a change.

This is a Destiny event not a PVE event celebrating the whole game. Your jot forced to play PVP because you do not need the armor. It's your choice to pursue it if you want a quick path to 400 armor but it's not the only path. Stop the entitled bullshit. D2 was marketed as a pve and pvp game from the beginning. The pvp requirements for this event are like 10% and they are not that hard. Get out of your snowflake comfort zone and play all of the game of you want all of the rewards.

SoH is an event for the whole game, it's good there's requirements for PvP because it's part of the game. As for rewards as a whole, you want them then play for them in their respective modes, as you shouldn't get good PvP( PvE ) rewards and not even play it.

Just suck it up man, at least you don't have to play with potato internet and people telling you you're at an advantage.
me rn
Edited by eMpSlOtH: 8/18/2018 10:51:51 PMIm a PVP player and hate being “forced” into PVE to get the best gear........

please learn what forcing means
-
But then how can they justify having implemented it when participation numbers hit record lows?

I 100% agree. Make shit for the PvP sect require doing crucible runs. I literally hate being pushed into PvP in order to move forward or complete PvE tasks. I never have been and no matter how hard you push I will never like PvP, I'm sure there are many like minds. I literally cant wait for Anthem to hit the market....finally a Co-Op mmo focused on PvE content. #crucibleblows

Agreed

I agree. If it was D1 crucible it wouldn’t be too bad but D2’s crucible is really horrible. It’s not fun.

Edited by snap: 8/18/2018 5:46:18 PMEXACTLY!!! It's cool you flip the meta on its head but that means every piece of shit human is going to find the path of least resistance with their no skill meta griefing. If you gonna set up the playground that way then don't make play crucible to unlock stuff. bullshit. ok good talk. and here i am playing control in quickplay for 10 hours to get 40 super kills with every dumb -blam!-ing idiot on the planet who cannot grasp the concept of keeping two zones. Control worst piece game mode every in d2 ... like sticking bamboo shoot under you finger nails. What doesn't bungie just rename quickplay 24/7 control. wtf is going on here ... do any that work on the game play with pugs?

I have been trying to finish the damn armor quest stuck on the PvP for the blue chest. And out of 10 games only won 2 games the rest crub stomped and the rest. Mercy rule was triggered for 6 of the games. Also did I mention I was solo vs stacked teams... Very very done with bungo pushing me to a game mode that is so bloody toxic.
