Tell me if there was anything worse
Edit: To all the people saying Kargen, I didn’t know that strike existed before today because I’m not on PlayStation. In any case, I just put the ones I think have a bit of a bad reputation (or in the case of Tree of Probabilities because I -blam!-ing hate it personally).
-
Why isnt the shank strike not on this list? The one where you had to defend the warsat at the start? Since thats the worst strike imo. Look how many people quit from it the moment it started!
-
Anything that goes through the Infinite Forest, just horrible.
-
Omnigul. Arc burn light switch...... That was hell
-
The Wretched Eye, arc/void burn... *cringes*

''Taniks has no house''

Edited by xbroggiex: 8/17/2018 2:27:34 AMWhere is Echo Chamber?
-
Exodus crash and garden world boss rooms. The rest of the strikes are OK.
-
Is a garden world ps exclusive? I'd probably say fallen sabre wins worst strike ever without question. Maybe undying mind too
-
The Wretched Eye was the worst for me. The Boss Fight was no fun at all on Heroic and with some of the mods it was far too easy to wipe. There were more DIFFICULT Strikes, all in D1, and I’m thinking of the Sleeper Simulant version of Fallen S.A.B.E.R (which I never completed), Arc Burn Omnigul, Solar Shield Brothers or Rockets McDickFace here, but the mechanics of all of these were less chaotic and much fairer, and if you had a good fireteam, you could plough your way through them and really feel both relieved and exhilarated at the end. The Wretched Eye Boss mechanic was just awful. A teleporting Archon with massively OP beam weapons, and an invulnerable OHK Ogre as well as stacks of shanks and other ads in a room with very little cover, and the three players having to run around like headless chickens? No, thanks. Exodus Crash Boss Fight is light relief by comparison.

Anything on Mercury. The infinite forest sucks!
-
Tree of probabilities is a -blam!-ing disaster of a strike
-
Destiny 1: Wretched eye Destiny 2: Exodus crash
-
Exodus is first. Arc burn Omnigul was second And tree of probabilities is third in place.
-
Any strike which has a boss with immune mechanics.
-
Tie between 'Strange Terrain' and 'Will of the Thousands,' for being re-purposed story missions. I hate 'A Garden World' and 'Tree of Probabilities' for the same reason, but at least the character dialogue justifies our playing through those missions again. The characters involved in the Warmind strikes pretend that the Warmind story never happened.
-
Exodus crash. But i still want it to come back. Just better.
-
I would say it's a close tie between The Wretched Eye and the Saber Strike. And just for giggles, the best is STILL Alak-Hul👌
-
Anyone that says anything besides The Wretched Eye has forgotten that strike. On another note The Insight Terminus may not be the best strike ever but it's far from the worst. There's nothing particularly vexing about it.
-
Valus pre-nerf with Solar Burn on. Legit took 30 minutes to kill the boss alone if you had no sniper ammo.
-
HHOMNIGUL! SILENCE HER SCREAMS! “AIIEEEEEEAK” VALUS TU-PA’AC? THE MARIO AND LUIGI BROTHERS? Damn I miss Destiny 1.....oh wait I have it right here. 😂.
-
shield brothers with solar burn was absolute ass.
-
damn all the people saying exodus crash literally have no f*cking clue, I honestly had no idea there were that many destiny 2 only players here because I refuse to believe anyone who ever experienced lightswitch arc burn Omnigul or solar burn Cerberus Vae or void burn wretched eye could say that. However, if we're talking general level design I would say Exodus is up there, but that doesn't seem like what OP's going for with those specific options.
-
D2: Garden World. Outside of a specific Nightfall run where you want to kill as much as possible for points, that strike has so much useless stuff to skip. You run more than you shoot. D1: I get all your arguments about Wretched Eye, it's definetly a contender. I liked it's design better than Omnigul's add spam though. Considering 3oC was worthless there as well it's got to be Omnigul for me. Didn't care about Grasp of Malok since I had a few sweet Nirwen's Mercy rifles. 😏
-
Pre nerf valus or Rockets mcplodeface Awful on solar burn
-
Wretched eye. Nothing more annoying than having an immune ogre chasing and ground stomping you while a fallen whatever the -blam!- blasts you with that ogre eye

Edited by Specialist Feature: 8/18/2018 6:30:32 AMThe mercury ones kinda suck but the past mercury was cool and the other one let me ride my sparrow through places, gave me SRL nostalgia. Omnigul was very chaotic every time I did it but it was super fun. Cerberus Vai was okay, pretty good one in vanilla. But seriously, who brings a tank to a gun fight? Shield brothers was one of the best strikes imo, and they brought another tank into space, absolute madlads. Wretched Eye, is that eye of Savuthun? The story in that one was a little more interesting, being able to speak to one of the guardians in there was more engaging. Pity we never saw her. The boss fight is so common in my playlists, but it’s still kind of enjoyable. Edit: it’s the rise of iron one. That was okay, the mechanics were refreshing. Had fun catching the ogre’s attention and hauling rear. Exodus Crash was ok. It’s on Nessus, which is one of, if not my favorite planet in D2. The dark room climb was okay but it was too quick and underused imo. The boss is kind of boring. If he did more stuff while invisible besides maybe sneaking near you, I think it’d be better. I think it’s the worse one in this poll, but it’s definitely not the worst. Did you guys forget about that one strike in the black garden? The only fun part was the climb up against all the vex.
