So Destiny has not felt the best in recent weeks. I place my shot, take it, and seemingly miss for no reason only to have the damage appear a second late. Or in some cases nothing registers at all. Today playing Iron Banner I logged into my XR500s DumaOS and re-enabled my Geofilter. At first I had Nat issues with the people I was partied up with because they live outside my filter range, but allowing those connections fixed it straight away. Let me tell you my next 5 games felt GREAT in comparison to the last two weeks. Everything was happening when it should and my shot felt snappy again. Even when I lost I didn't feel like it was something out of my control. So having everything feel this great again I asked my team if we could venture into the Competitive playlist, they agreed and off we went. The first game was a loss, but still felt good. Then the next game happened.. I got kicked before we even landed with error code: Rabbit. My team ended up losing then went back to orbit to pick me up, we matchmake and find a game pretty quickly. As we're flying in all four of us get kicked before landing with error code: Coconut and now have a comp suspension for leaving games. Before today I haven't had any issues with disconnects leading me to believe that my Geofilter is somehow causing the issue. Does Destiny have some problem with a Geofilter bring used? I feel like I'm forced to choose between having no disconnects and shotty gameplay, or crisp connections and the inability to play comp.
