In order to earn loot from a public event you have to join the event by either walking into the area of it or by attacking an enemy part of the event... and then nothing else after that. I've had too many players join in and then sit in back while I do all the work and they get rewarded for it. This needs to stop. If you want loot from events then take part in them aswell and help get it to heroic. People like this make me sick!
