Imagine this scenario: You and your fireteam of 3 or 6 are requested back to the Infinte Forest by Osiris to investigate a strange disturbance. Your team ventures to the deepest part of the area to come back to the arena where you fought Panoptes and defeated it. What you find is the Remnant of Panoptes, a shimmering/distorted body of the once “alive” Vex still existing, barely. . You lose contact with Osiris when speaking to him and the entire area grows dim. The Remnant of Panoptes starts to distort time around you conjures up past intense fights you have encountered. . One fight will have the entire arena grow almost pitch black with very few areas lit. You hear a thunderous clap from the Remnant of Panoptes and soon Alak-Hul, The Darkening Blade appears with a horde of thrills thrown at you. . Another fight will have the arena glow green and mist filled. The Remnant of Panoptes then shivers violently before letting out a metallic scream and summoning a Shadow of Oryx. The Shadow of Oryx floats around within the deep mist while creating Taken blights and Taken enemies. . Even another fight would make the arena constantly shift and make the sky a dark neon blue and electrified. The Remnant of Panoptes would open up a Vex portal from its chest and let The Templar through. The Templar then would teleport around the arena, summoning Vex at each location it appears. A relic would appear somewhere around the shifting area to help bring down the shields of The Templar and defend against enemy attacks. . The final fight will put you against The Remnant of Panoptes. As the fight progresses, The Remnant of Panoptes will split your team apart to fight it in all separate simulations of Past Mars, Present Infinite Forest (current arena), and Future Desolate Mars. If one small group or single person defeats it in one simulation, they can jump through a Vex gate to entire another simulation to help other Guardians fight their Remnant of Panoptes. Once all Remnants of Panoptes are destroyed, the original will wither and fade away.
