Hey, i recently switched to linux on my main system and was wondering if trying to run destiny 2 on wine using DXVK (https://github.com/doitsujin/dxvk) would get me banned because of the strict "anticheat" thinking im trying to inject something into graphics pipeline. it shouldn't though, should it?

Anyone googling that finds this please support my petition to have Bungie reconsider this: http://chng.it/Sr9xfyJD

Here is the Bungie article on Destiny and third party applications: https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/46101 The game will be incompatible with third party software that attempts to modify or otherwise inject itself into the game code. If software runs by trying to modify the game (like changing the graphic user interface with an overlay, for example), it will typically be incompatible. Software that runs in the background but does not modify the game itself (like software that remaps programmable mouse buttons, such that the game sees a different input but that input is controlled outside the game) will typically be ok.

While there probably not an official answer, I would urge caution trying to play the game on any system that is not approved.
