Episode 1.5 Fett: “Okay, this is not going to be a nice landing. Everyone strap in! Artemis, there is a switch over there, flip it. It is an back up engine I put in in case of a situation like this.” Artemis: “Should we turn the inertial dampeners on?” Fett nods to Artemis who turns the dampeners on. Artemis then tries turning the back up engine online to no avail. Fett flips the ship’s intercomm on. Fett: “Artorias, you and Nohbdy try and get the back up engine online manually! If you get it on I can out maneuver most of the TIEs!” After a few minutes, Nohbdy and Artorias were able to get the back up but only after the [i]Slave I[/i]had taken a few more hits. Fett: “Okay, we currently have a full squadron of TIEs following us. I will try and start making sharp turns in the air. Sharp turns in atmosphere do not bode well with a TIE’s wings.” Fett then puts his ship in a hard 90 degree turn. Most of the TIEs try and follow him and fail, causing them to spin out in atmosphere which would lead to crashing into the planets surface. Most of the pilots that spun out ejected, but not all were so lucky. Out of the original 12, only 4 were left. Fett: “Well that trick is only going to work once. I have something that might finish them off but we might get hit also.” Artemis: “Do it Fett. We are all getting paid enough.” Fett pushes a button on the control board. A seismic charge is released and explodes twice, destroying all the TIE fighters. Fett: “Brace!” The edge of the seismic shock wave hit them sending them tumbling towards the surface. Fett was able to quickly right the ship on its way down then fired the repulserlift and land them with a loud thud. Fett: “Everyone, out! More TIEs will be in their way to finish us off.” Every one got out of the [i]Slave I[/i]. Fett: “Keldabe is the capitol of mandelore and should only be three or four kilometers away.” Thor: “Does anyone hear that? It sounds like a ship flying low.” Hammer: “I hear it too. Doesn’t sound like another TIE squadron.” Fett: “It’s not. It’s three imperial shuttles coming this way. Find some cover. Each shuttle holds at least 20 stormtroopers.” Hammer: “Look! There is a large amount or rocks and boulders over there.” The group runs towards the rocks and gets ready to fight off the stormtroopers. Fett: “Artemis, get to the highest point here and snipe the troops as the come off the ships. Artorias, Thor, we will try and take out the troops runing at us. Nohbdy and Hammer, stay near the edge of the rocks and take out the troops who get here. The turrets on my ship are offline so we will have to take out all of the troops our selves. If each of us can kill 10, we have won this fight.” Fett: “Get ready, first shuttle is about to land.” The first shuttle lands. Stormtroopers run out the front in pairs. Artemis takes out the first 3 troopers on the left when the other shuttles land. Artemis continues to shoot the troops coming out of the first shuttle, taking out two more. Fett fires his EE-3 twice and three troopers fall to the ground.(Remember, Fett’s EE-3 has a three round burst of blaster bolts). Artorias decides to see how far he can hit a target with his bowcaster and fires at the troops running towards them from the left most shuttle. Four stormtroopers fly into the air and hit the ground, dead. Thor readies his DC-17 and lets loose on the troopers coming from the right landing craft. 7 troopers fall to the ground from blaster hits as they advance. Of the 20 stormtroopers that came from the first shuttle, Ony three are able to reach the rocks. When they do Hammer and Nohbdy are waiting for them. One runs to where Hammer is without knowing he is there. Hammer: “Surprise motha!” That unlucky and surprised stormtrooper flies backward from the force of taking a scattershot round to the face. The other two were more surprised when Nohbdy came out of no where and shot them in the back of their heads. Fett: “Okay, 31 are dead. We just need to kill the rest.” Hammer: “As fun as this is, there are too many troopers. We just can’t kill them all.” Fett: “Last time I checked, we all had wrist mounted flamethrowers. Every one except Hammer, get to the back of the rocks. Hammer, you and me will put up some trip mines.” Hammer: “I like where this is headed.” Fett and Hammer set up mines where the stormtroopers would have to go through. When they are finished, they run to the back of the rocks. When they reach the back, the first stormtroopers have set off the trip mines. Fett: “Okay, once they go through the mines, only about ten should be left. We will then hit them with our flamethrowers in my mark.” The first trooper makes it out of the rocks in badly scorched armor. Fett activates his wrist mounted flamethrower and scorched the trooper all the way through. Everyone else activated their flamethrowers. A wall of fire moved through the rocks, killing the last of the stormtroopers. Nohbdy: “I…I can’t believe it, we are all alive.” Thor: “Yes we are. Hey…does anyone else hear that low hum?” Fett: “Yes. It’s the engines of a LAAt/i. We are about to have more company.” [spoiler]End Part 5 Sorry it was out late. I hope everyone liked it.
