Yep i'm getting the same issue. I'm pledged to NM, but I randomly get FWC tokens along with Nm upon completion of a public event, patrol, hvt. The worst part is the lost sectors. It's either or. Not both. So I do a lost sector, and half the time I get fwc tokens and no nm. This is horrible. On top of that, the daily and weekly faction challenge I just did for my warlock gave me 30 fwc tokens and only 10 nm. This is insane. I'm beyond frustrated. It will takes tens of hours to grind out for the catalyst now. Bungie owes us all a free catalyst, since they were clearly too lazy to fix it since this was a known bug in the prior rally. Smh.

At least u r able to load game; day 3 here w/out being able to play AT ALL!!! And still no fix or ETA for a fix - Bungie's silence is deafening!!!

Same thing is happening to me for this and previous faction rally. We're getting cheated out of faction rewards unless we but in 2x the work. I made posts about it last time and tweeted bungie with no reply. Seems as though they don't care

Same here selected FWC and receive for FWC and Dead Orbit .. now I only reseive from Dead Orbit the one I not selected. Realy stupid, fix this so I reseive the selected tokens..........

This bug existed during the last faction rally. Bungie mentioned it in one of their TWAB. So as you can see, they were aware of it and decided not to fix the bug for this faction rally. Good luck with the grind

Had the exact same problem last Rally with FWC and New Monarchy (I pledged to FWC for this season’s first Rally and to New Monarchy for the second one). Got mad and decided to stop playing for the week out of frustration. Now I have the exact same problem this time around. I want that Sweet Business Catalyst from New Monarchy really bad, but it’s not worth ignoring the renown system (since lost sectors only give me FWC tokens). I’m done with this Rally.

Same here! I can't actually farm for tokens for catalysts in lost sectors, as it nearly always gives me the fraction tokens I don't need.

I have the exact same problem, but with FTW (last rally) and NNM (current). Seems there's a fifty-fifty chance of getting the correct tokens, so on average, a max renown LS will yield 5. Fortunately, the fastest way to get tokens doesn't involve lost sectors or renown at all. (Just make sure you do the milestone on each character each day first.) The rest of this post is copy/paste from Ecleclcticmike10's comment on a Youtube video (thanks Mike). "There is a much easier way to get to rank 50 in factions than the time consuming rehashed farming plan that people keep bringing up. It is also much simpler. NO renown involved, and NO farming lost sectors in this strategy. So, here's what you do. 1. Farm heroic public events ONLY on EDZ since it is the best location for this farming strategy. (Forget about lost sector and the whole renown system completely) 2. As soon as you finish one, reload back into the same spot immediately to take advantage of others doing the same public event on a different server who may be finishing slower than you. 3. Once you get to the point where there aren't anymore events going on at that location, move on to the next. 4. Repeat the process until you hit rank 50. P.S. keep in mind that you will keep being warned about losing renown, so always be ready to double tap the a or x button to load back in depending on what console your on. (Yes, I know it can get annoying at times. But it's worth the time) This method is much faster and you can get at least 15 to 20 reputation tokens per location. If you can load into 4 events since they each give 5 tokens for each heroic completion and 4 for non heroic. The most I was able to get at one location was 20. You should be done within one day, two tops, depending on how much time you have to spend farming. Also if you are just beginning from 0 reputation. If not, it should only take you a few hours."
