To be fair, singe is only a 25% damage boost. Sleeper and Darci will still out damage any other heavy, regardless of singe.
To be fair, singe is only a 25% damage boost. Sleeper and Darci will still out damage any other heavy, regardless of singe.
I know you've been around since D1, your name and avatar is great btw, so if you say Sleeper and Darci outdamage other heavies I trust you on that. However.. only 25%? There are RPGs where players look forward to "only" 5-10% increases. I'm not a min/max elitist, but 25% gun damage is pretty damn good. Back when I still played WoW, I didn't care too much about which spec someone used even though there were and still are performance differences ranging from like 3% to much much more. Also it was like a 'deep' gameplay decision which one you used. But in D2, you can simply change your mod for 5k glimmer if you really don't have another gun with the corresponding Singe, and you get a 25% buff on that gun. So, yeah it irritates me a lot whenever I see people like I mentioned. If that Stormcaller used Solar weapons at least... and used super more than at the very end of the Strike.

 • In D1 Y1, it was a 3x damage boost. In year two and three, it was only a 2x damage boost. That tiny 1.25 is nothing, especially when I have an ability that gives a 1.5. Boost on demand as a titan. If you don't mind me asking, how do you know that I've been around since D1?

 • Good memory, and most importantly it also helped your profile pic and name remained the same.
