Nope. The loot system sucks and stalling the strike just to wander around to kill every little monster is not worth it for many players.
If someone wants to get the strike over with as quickly as possible, I totally understand, and I will happily run past the enemies with them as well.

If they would take what they did with nightfalls, minus the modifier card, and combine it with the old key system for strikes more people would be on the same page on heroics. Higher score = higher chance at catalysts and keys I think would be better. But as it is now, yeah. I'm only there to finish them in as short of a time as possible. Nothing I do between point A and B makes a difference. I might die occasionally zerging the infinite forest, but I succeed more times than I fail so I'm going to keep doing it.
-
I do love that you used the term zerging. That fits it well haha!

It doesn't make it faster if half the team keeps dying because of it. Like when one guy runs through and leaves all the sword knights in the exit doorway to block whoever is trying to follow.
-
It's just as bad if the strike takes longer than it has to because one guy wants to frolic around and slay every last mob.
-
I hear ya. I'm just saying if one guy runs forward and triggers all the mobs it screws his teammates and often takes just as long.
