No, it's not. The fact you think that, means any attempt at explaining why your wrong would be an utter waste of breath.

Edited by Black Magic: 7/15/2018 6:54:00 AMOf course it is. NFL teams don’t go to the super bowl just to be there now do they?

Edited by ScotchEggsRules: 7/15/2018 6:56:47 AMAsinine comparison. This isn't the NFL, it's a video game, get over yourself.

How “fun” are you in Comp?
-
I don't crucible. In 1300 hours of D2, I've played 250-300 games of crucible, purely for milestones. I can't stand it. What is your point?

Of course, what I mean is that people have become so concerned with winning, that they just don’t have fun with the game. How is restricting yourself to a handful of weapons fun? I saw a video discussing potential meta when Forsaken comes out. The expansion isn’t even out yet & people are already worried about what weapons they should restrict themselves to.

Don't waste your breath. The sort of people you're addressing are entitled millenials with no sense of fun, just an "I want it now" mentality.

Edited by Judas: 7/15/2018 8:57:56 AMI’ve never understood the mentality of either meta only players or strike rushers. It’s like going on a vacation to a beautiful foreign country and rushing through it without trying any of the different foods or taking time to enjoy all the new sights in surrounding areas. All that just so you can say „been there, done that“. Although I am no longer able to be a top tier player, (going on 60 in January and my hand/eye coordination isn’t what it used to be) I am still above average in both PvP and PvE. I still play for relaxation, to get away from my daily wear and tear. Gaming is my church, it’s where I go to heal my hurts. 99% of the gamers I meet daily are not pro gamers. But unfortunately many of them are people who think they are special, egotistical elitists with only the goal of getting everything as fast as possible thinking that makes them godlike. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy progression just as much as everyone else. But not at the cost of having fun doing it. Meeting new people on the way, enjoying myself because it’s a game and not a chore that I have to get done quickly as possible .
