Yeah no. This post won’t change player style. Plus kills don’t mean anything. What people like you don’t understand that killing the strike boss is the only thing that matters. Sure you’ve got to kill a little on the way but don’t blame us because we know more than you.

  • Played through infinite forest today it was rediculously tougher than yesterday why I don't know. Team crew abandoned had a couple join but left. Some of the strikes are not as easy to rush through, for me anyway.

  • Yeah that’s probably the more difficult ones to pull off. Snipers can make the team come to halt. You really have to find the balance

  • There are many activities were people can do that patrol, public events, lost sectors, strikes. People like you choose to roll the dice when they select matchmaking. There could be people that want to take it slow there could be people that know the boss is all that matters and want to get there fast. People like you have options to find like minded players I suggest you use them. It’s not bungie’s job to waste time on pointless features when that time could be put towards better more important things

  • It's choice. Strikes were designed to be played through not skipped through. Those shooting enemies are playing it as intended. People who rush through a strike are forcing their choice on others. In response, I simply sit down at the boss fight and let them get on with it, forcing them to play longer. Petty? Yes. Tit-for-tat? Yes. Satisfying? Absolutely.

  • And that’s the sort of attitude and player i report every time. Yes strikes were designed to be played through thats a ridiculous thing to say btw. They aren’t just going to put out a strike with no adds and a long walk to the boss smh. Players will play through strikes when they are new and fresh but after a while I don’t blame people for skipping. If you say I really want to eat a sandwich and have all the stuff in front of you to make said sandwich but don’t that’s your problem. I don’t care if you go in solo or with a friend if you click matchmaking you don’t know what your going to get deal with it. You have a big clan and lfg on console’s and the bungie app if you people refuse to use those suggestions that’s on you

    I report players like you for skipping through... You don't have the monopoly on being petty. Two can play that game. Wanna run through things, go and solo a NF.

    So we take you to the boss and you do nothing. Pointlessly fighting enemies that are nothing more than a distraction and when it comes to actually doing something you leave us more skilled players to carry you. Don’t even try. We’ll probably end up having to Rez you.

    "Kills don't mean anything" True. But team play does. Unless you're soloing the strike for example you're part of a three person TEAM. So play as a team. Not as an individual. That's not too much to ask for. Again, given the fact it's a team activity. I don't mind if someone gets a little bit ahead. As long as they remain in sight, preferably where one of us can get to them if they are downed. Farther than that is not cool. In addition, as we all know, it takes longer to self-revive than it does for a team mate to revive you. Or for you to revive them. That means if three players are all dead and strung out across the map it's going to take significantly longer to complete the mission, especially if it keeps occurring. Hence, nobody has a good time.

  • But here's the issue, you actually have to survive to reach the strike boss. If a person repeatedly keeps running off by themselves and dying, then it's counterproductive

  • Depending on the mods I can solo every strike. There are players than are even better than me or even better equipped that don’t need a team. Sure strikes are meant for teams, but usually most areas don’t need concentrated firepower. If you don’t blast through strikes it appears to me that you don’t know what you’re doing. And more often than not, you get less kills than I do anyways and I skip enemies. So who’s to blame? Pretty much it just feels like the team just wastes time doing pointless stuff like hunting down enemies hiding in corners after the objective has been cleared for that area. And more often than not, I don’t need Rez. I’m the one Rez players. And if I do die, then I made a miscalculation.

  • Very true. I don’t rez players who play dumb. I understand making mistakes but if you want to run ahead of everyone then if you die you won’t get a Rez.
