I don't like that situation either, I prefer to play the content at a decent pace. To me it feels like it runs smoother and is actually quicker when all three work together, no waiting on respawns, rez's, or wipes. That's why I LOVED strike scoring in D1, it kind of encouraged teamwork in my opinion. I feel it would even go further to encourage team play if within strike scoring the rewards would increase in qty and quality the higher you score as a team.

*points to you* damn straight, put a number on it, they will come. Speed running would stop dead in its tracks if the rewards increased and god forbid you cleared the entire strike clean...and those percentages on those strike specific weapons would jump up dramatically...oh you bet your arse it would. However, its sad it takes carrot to promote teamwork *shrug* but we gotta do what we gotta do..

Yes, true about the carrot.... I a good majority of people play for the loot, but at it's core Destiny is supposed to be a social game, a team game. That's why there are different classes, with different traits and abilities, not to be "balanced" and the same, but to work well with each other in order to stomp a mudhole in the arses of the bad guys... I love the game either way, and it's always awesome when you get matched up with other like minded guardians...
