WTF Bungie, what the hell are you downloading on our PCs?
I am playing Destiny 2 since release and then this happen. I am World 4th on Bnet Playtime on Destiny 2. This never happened.
So contact Microsoft please and check up your files. Because this forces me to shut off Anti-virus form win10 to play game with the bad File in your game Directory:
file: C:\...\Destiny 2\packages\w64_city_tower_d16_t0_activities_021d_7.pkg

What??

Same issues last night. However, the file was slightly different. Threat: Trojan:Script/Cloxer.D!cl File: C:\Games\BattleNet\Destiny 2\packages\w64_city_tower_d16_t0_activities_021d_5.pkg Regardless, the issues has been fixed for me by downloading the newer Windows Defender definition file. To download newer Windows Defender definition file, just run Windows Update, or check for new definition files from within the Windows Defender. Windows Defender definition file that was flagging the file as trojan: 1.271.996.0 Windows Defender definition file that is allowing the file: 1.271.999.0

I encountered this and commented on another thread, but this is the discussion that comes up on a Google search of the issue. It seems to be resolved now under the following versions: * Destiny 2: 1.2.1.2 (5113834) * Windows Defender definition updates: 1.271.1003.0 If anyone encounters the alert with these or later versions, please post a note.

Getting the same thing in Windows Defender, but I'm getting it with 2 files:
w64_city_tower_d16_t0_activities_021d_5.pkg
and
w64_edz_activities_01f3_0.pkg
Same here this morning. Wrote to @blizzardcs too, it is their application.

Same thing here was well. "Affected Items: file: F:\Destiny 2\packages\w64_city_tower_d16_t0_activities_021d_5.pkg". Was working fine last night and it seems due to Windows detecting a virus it won't allow the program to update itself. Reinstalling doesn't fix the issue either so it looks like this is something that's in the actual program. Probably a false positive, but it's really concerning.

so should i be worried about bungie screwing my pc now?

I have a list of at least 10 files with Windows Defender alerts. And still waiting for Bungie to reply on twitter, guess we will sit here and never get a fast response about why the hell they are injecting trojan horses in our computers.
