Microsoft banned my GT...
A little preface to where my gamer tag came from. D1 player since beta, was running a Wrath of the Machine raid with friends and one rando. Since i was playing with friendsand work buddies, we called out by our real names. Mine being "Tim"
One of my friends messed up a mechanic on aksis phase 2 so i ran over to him and squated on his dead body a few times. Out of no where this 12 year old kids yells out, "LOOK AT TIM!! HE IS TEA BAGGING RAUL!! TEA BAG TIM TEA BAG TIM TEA BAG TIM!!!"
From that point forward my GT was TBagTim, until recently...
I got two hate mail messages due to those shitty modifiers in heroic strikes, brawler with no radar. I played like crap bc i am a titan with synthoceps and can't be bothered with playing from a distance.
I didnt reply to their msgs only reported due to profane name calling. This week, i get my GT changed due to offending someone and getting reported.
My name now is "Faintkitten" WTF MAN!!!

Hard Mode Templar the Relic Holder died. I slapped down a Bubble over his orb and we literally stopped DPS'ning just to share some love. Sure we wiped because of it, but it was fun and it was proving a point. Relic Holder laughed it off and we moved on. Is it wrong? Probably. Is it Rude? Probably. However we've always done it to each other and its been our thing and probably will always be our thing. You die, You get some love then a revive if we can. Sadly people take Names and Clan Names way to seriously, but I do understand somebody has to be the bad guy with reporting and somebody has to be offended. I'm just glad there isn't a LawSuit button. Lol

2 RepliesI've heard of equally ridiculous examples, big companies like this are to afraid of upset millennial being offended by anything and everything, like tbagging. I did it a lot in d1 just because of the reactions I got of even my own team mates. More enjoyable than the game itself lmao.

4 RepliesRead ToS, you can also get comm band even if you didn’t talk to the. If you get reported enough. Then Xbox will send you a msg to tell you they took action against someone you reported. It tends to be network manipulation that I report, but people being homophobic also gets the report.

1 ReplyI don't message anyone on Xbox it's too risky plus I've had 6 comms bans and a 2 week xbl ban on all accounts on my Xbox so 1 more ban and I'll have to use my spare Xbox one and make a new gt because I'll be perma banned lol. Really don't wanna lose my gt I've had it a good 3 years+ and really don't wanna start fresh... haven't messaged anyone other than for an inv in over a year so I was wondering if after a certain amount of time with good behaviour do my offences get reset??

Microsoft will literally ban you for a week for saying "oh shit" in a message, its pathetic how petty they can be to try make it "child friendly", -blam!- off, children are worse than most of the shit we say through messages, let alone what they say in the party which you cant even report.
