The Fanatic
The Fanatic, Fikrul, is second only to Uldren Sov himself, and is the leader of the Scorn. As the only member of the group to escape capture, he fled into hiding while his comrades were imprisoned within the Prison of Elders. Once a well-regarded Archon Priest of a long forgotten house The Fanatic views The Scorn as what the Fallen (Eliksni) should have been, and that is eternal/immortal. The Eliksni are machine worshippers, and they created the Servitors in the image of the Great Machine – The Traveler. But The Fanatic cast aside machine worship, and was exiled for this until he joined up with The Barons. The Fanatic may be one the hardest Barons to beat, so may be best to defeat the other Barons first.

The Machinist
The Machinist, Elykris, is the second in command to the Barons and is an expert in munitions and weapon crafting. She has become infamous for her raids on ships and settlements near Mars, as well as for her role in the Siege of Arran and in the heists after the Solis Descent. Elykris is a raider first and foremost and has stolen enough weapons and supplies to make sure the Barons are heavily armed. After being captured alongside most of her allies, she was imprisoned deep within the Prison of Elders. However, a year after the events of the Red War she was freed by Uldren Sov, and played a role in the murder of Cayde-6 at Sov's hand. Players may want to bring their own powerful gear to square off against this well-armed Baron.

The Mindbender
Hiraks, The Mindbender, is perhaps the most fascinating of the Barons. As a Dreg, Hiraks fell into the Hellmouth on the Moon. (Home to Crota and the Hive) He emerged obsessed with the Hive and incomprehensible in his speech (possibly the Hive language), and began to study them. Years later, Hiraks found a way to form his own throne world within the Ascendant realm (A feat usually reserved for only the most powerful and cunning Hive) and gained a reputation for his ability to unravel his enemies' minds, along with his command over the Hive.
Hiraks also has the ability to manipulate minds and as the mastermind of the Great Crow Heist, Hiraks trapped and converted Prince Uldren's Crows with his powers, using them to help engineer mistrust between the Reef and Earth. He was also responsible for experiments on Asteroid 128 Nemesis, where his actions caused the asteroid to shift between our dimension and the Ascendant realm.
Hiraks is the first enemy observed working with a race they are at war with & he's also the first Eliksni ever seen to have mastered the power of the Ascendant realm and carved his own throne world from it.
His past of being forced to survive amongst the Hive for years within the Hellmouth is very similar to that of Eris Morn. They both also were physically changed, with Eris having grown a third eye, while Hiraks grew horns. It’s sure to be one of the most interesting Baron fights for sure.

The Trickster
The Trickster, Araskes, seem to be more of a fast-talker than a fighter, though that isn’t to say this Baron isn’t a threat. Little is known about her beyond legends of her own creation. As the spokesman and envoy of the Scorn, she is often the first to strike. Utilising cloaking technology and leaving traps for unsuspecting enemies, Araskes has little skill in all-out battle beyond her ability to avoid it. It seems this Baron uses traps, stealth, and manipulation to get work done, but it seems this Baron may be more bark than bite.

The Hangman
Reksis Vahn is The Hangman, an infamous Fallen who derives pleasure out of ripping apart Servitors – a sacrilegious act among standard Eliksni. A depraved executioner abandoned at birth, Vahn has a specific hatred of Servitors and their role in Fallen culture. Based in the Aurora Caves, the Hangman siphons Ether from Servitors and uses it to feed his fellow Barons. Prior to his capture alongside those comrades, Vahn was responsible for exterminating the last Servitors of the House of Wolves, dooming the House to extinction. The Hangman is a sadist and serves as the executioner for the Barons. Whatever this Baron has in store for guardians, it’s likely going to be rough.

The Mad Bomber
Kaniks, The Mad Bomber, is just as bombastic as the name implies. Bungie seemingly brought Junkrat from Overwatch to the Destiny universe, as this Baron specializes in a wide array of explosives. Responsible for a vast minefield throughout the Reef which regularly claims Awoken lives, Kaniks is a crazed lunatic who lives only to chase the adrenaline high of yet another fiery explosion. This Baron fight may be one of the most exciting to take on, or perhaps one of the most annoying.

The Rifleman
This Baron was one of the few that was shown off in the Forsaken ViDoc. Pirrha, The Rifleman, is the sniper Baron. Responsible for the deaths of Awoken Paladins Tellos Cir, Loris Pol, and Hollis Eso at Pallas Falls, Pirrha is also known to have destroyed multiple Ghosts. Pirrha is likely the one who shot Cayde’s ghost in the Destiny 2 story reveal trailer. The Rifleman lurks in the Hellrise Canyon, where he lures unwary travelers into an impenetrable security network before eliminating them from afar. Players will want to stock their new weapon loadout with plenty of long ranged weapons before venturing into Pirrha’s territory.

The Rider
Every western needs a good horse chase, and Forsaken is no exception. To fit the archetype, Bungie gave Yaviks, The Rider, a Pike to unleash chaos with. Yaviks leads a personal gang of Pike riders. Riding atop a heavily upgraded Heavy Pike, Yaviks seeks to replace the hierarchy of the Fallen with anarchy throughout the Reef. She is responsible for the destruction of eight Awoken outposts, six Techeun temples, and hundreds of Awoken lives. The Rider can cause fields of pollution wherever she rides. Guardians may want to equip some of the new mods coming to the game to buff damage against vehicles before facing Yaviks.

The Barons will surely pose a worthy threat to any guardian stepping into the Tangled Shore. These feel like some of the most unique bosses Bungie has crafted for the Destiny universe, so hopefully Bungie’s storytelling does them justice.
All look really cool in their own unique way IMO...
