In Europe we had this awesome period of time. Undeniably there was some horrible stuff going on (like the worst ways of torture you can imagine (for example, rat digging into belly)). Nonetheless it was a very fascinating and magical time shaping this great continent.
Don't feel left out white non-Europeans. Since you have European ancestors it's your history too.

Probably a potato farmer in Ireland relative to my ancestors. But being a merchant (especially one that travels) would be cool.

I really don't enjoy fishing though... Probably end up stuck on a fishing boat for 12 hours a day... again Course, I'd have been dead around birth without current medical technology, does that figure in? Or am I a dead baby?
