Being a lore fiend I was going through the lost prophecies from the curse of Osiris and I wonder if I've found something. All this is pure speculation based on the very loose wording of Prophecy verse 7 "West of Sunfall".
A spark of knowledge with each fall, the purpose of the endless youth. No longer shunned, dark's nameless call now brings about tenebrous truth.
The first sentence refers to the return of Nokris and Xol, "A spark of knowledge with each fall" refering to their necromantic rituals. The second sentence is where things get interesting.
I originally thought each verse refered to a single event until I went over verse 6
Amid the endless death one flew—unnatural all-consuming need— And in the space between the two, accursed comprehension freed.
The first part of this refers to Calus "Unnatural greed", while the second part refers to Panoptes and the vex "Acursed comprehension freed." Suggesting that one verse can refer to multiple events.
Going back to verse 7, we have "No longer shunned, dark's nameless call now brings about tenebrous truth.". I went over a lot of ideas about this until new info came out about the Barons of the Scorn. Of particular interest to me was their leader "The Fanatic".
Once a prominent Archon Priest of a long-lost House, the Fanatic preached heresy to the machine-worshiping Eliksni and paid a heavy price – docking, banishment, and starved from the Fallen’s lifegiving Ether. After falling in with the Barons to become their warrior-priest, he continued his anti-Great Machine evangelization and instilled in his brothers and sisters a belief that the old Eliksni must finally die, as the Whirlwind should have allowed, in order for them to rise better and stronger – and eternal.
So the Scorn do not share the traditional Eliksni goal of reclaiming the traveler.
The Fanatic views his Scorn as an evolution of the Fallen and the final manifestation of what they were always meant to be – eternal.
Eternity you say? What's another race we know that rejected the traveler and underwent a transformation in an attempt to become eternal? That's right, the hive!
This leads onto the Dreaming city, the raid location for forsaken. The dreaming city was once the home of the awoken until they were driven out and the realm currently exists between our own world and the Ascendant realm, where the Hive gods like Oryx and Savathun have their throne worlds. The place is said to be infected by "a dragon" and is inhabited by at very least the taken and probably the scorn.
This is where things start to come together. We know that the Scorn were rejected by the rest of the fallen, despise the traveler and have found some means to alleged immortality. We also know that the semi-ascendant plane Dreaming city is under the sway of a dragon. Now lets go back to the prophecy.
"No longer shunned..."
The Scorn were most definitely shunned by their people and yet "no longer" implies that someone or something has taken them into its fold. But what?
"...dark's nameless call now brings about tenebrous truth."
Tenebrous is a term meaning dark or shadowy; shadowy truth. The name of the worm god that made the pact with the Hive: Yul, the HONEST worm. Remember the giant creature dwelling in the ocean on titan that many believe is one of the Worm Gods? Yul has been described in the books of sorrow as having magnificent wings "Behold my passage. Behold my vast displacement, my ponderous strength, my great and coiling length, my folded jaws and curled wings." And the dreaming city happens to be home to a dragon, a wyrm if you will.
So here's my radical theory: Uldren, or at least the Scorn, have made a pact with Yul like the hive did millenia ago. Their pact may differ to the one struck with the hive but nonetheless, the Scorn are direct servants of the worm gods. Yul resides in the dreaming city of the Awoken, distorting it to suit his will and we will face him in the raid "The Keep of Voices".
I will reiterate that this is all speculation and I could be wrong about absolutely everything, but it was such an awesome idea that I couldn't keep it to myself.

<But the Worm Gods, thanks to Xol, were literally confirmed to NOT be wyrms or dragons of any kind. Meanwhile, we've seen the skeletons of young AND old Ahamkara, both are draconic. Also, that thing underneath Titan can't be Eir or Yul because it doesn't have wings. As for wings, what about moth wings? It fits way better than reptilian wings. Especially knowing the Worm scales are chitin, not keratin.>
