Heroic Strike Modifiers Suck and Here Are Some Suggestions To Fix Them:

**WARNING** Possibly going to be a long post. [b][u]Proposed Changes:[/u][/b] 1. Combine Blackout and Brawler into one modifier, and make it so that health can only be regained on melee kills, and your melee damage gets lower your health gets. Players start with no radar, and melee kills provide radar for a brief period. 2. Combine Airborne and Grounded into one modifier, and change it so that you take DoT whilst on the ground, but airborne kills grant health, and players have perfect accuracy whilst in the air, and decreased gravity. 3. Combine Glass and Heavyweight into one modifier. Players still have 50% health, but [i]all[/i] player damage is increased x2. Power ammo still drops more frequently, and orbs of light provide more super energy. Call it "Glass Cannon" or something. 4. Change Iron so that enemies take more precision damage, but less body shot damage, and enemies can only be staggered (but are more easily staggered) by precision damage. Killing enemies with precision hits grants a temporary buff that increases movement speed and health regeneration, and killing enemies with body shots grants a temporary de-buff that decreases movement speed and health regeneration. Make the buff/de-buff last about five seconds. 5. Change Match Game so that shields take more damage from the matching element, and the damage and radius from shield detonation is drastically increased. However, all enemy types now have shields. Shields are still more resistant to un-matching elements, like the way it is now. Breaking an enemy's shield with the matching element reloads your equipped weapon. 6. Change Grenadier so that grenades recharge faster, do more damage, and enemies killed by grenades explode. Killing an enemy with a grenade also recharges your grenade energy. And that's all I have for now. Iron was probably the most difficult one to change, since it's such a boring modifier to begin with. Hopefully Bungie changes Heroic Strike modifiers soon so that they actually incentivise other ways to play other than sitting back with a Scout Rifle and picking enemies off from a distance because they kill you nigh instantly if you get close. Honestly, I don't get why the Heroic Adventure modifiers aren't available in Heroic Strikes, because they're far more creative and interesting.
