Clearing up the rubbish
A lot of rubbish and lies have been spreading around here about Dead Orbit and our "grit". Claims have been put out there that we are cowards and are somehow running away. That we choose to retreat instead of choosing to stand and fight....
[u]Retreat[/u] doesn't have anything to do with Dead Orbit. (please hear me out)
FWC? With all their "preparing", what did that do to help against the lame cabal attack? El zilcho. Nothing. Zero. Nada. Nichts! They don't even understand their own kept technology.
Imagine a real attack. One focused on eradicating the entire human species.... An attack by an able and willing enemy...
[u]Follow fwc and their "wait and see" attitude, we die.[/u]
[u]Follow new monarchy and their "bureaucratic infighting", we die.[/u]
Spreading out, far and wide enough to make elimination of the human species near impossible, this is the way of Dead Orbit.
[u]We do not run from a fight.[/u] We simply seek to regroup, resupply, and advance upon our enemies like a wave returning to shore in a great tsunami after the earth has quaked.
Brothers and sisters, we have reached a turning point in our history. The choice is yours. Shall we venture into this brave new world, bright with possibilities, or retreat to the safety of our familiar but sterile past? I am for crossing the frontier.

However, everyone thought they were idiots. The tower never even considered making plans in case this could happen. In short, FWC was right and wanted to prepare the city, but no one listened. [spoiler]Also, I find it funny that everyone STILL thinks that they’re idiots even though that their prediction came true[/spoiler] [spoiler]Don’t get me wrong, I am DO at heart. In a way, they’re right. Earth is going to die eventually, and it’s best that we find a new planet in case the time comes sooner than we think[/spoiler]

The Future War Cult predicted the Red War and the Tower just laughed. Meanwhile New Monarchy and the FWC saved tons of lives when it did come while Dead Orbit said "lolnope" (at best they got people off planet, but where would they go when even the moon isn't safe?). For all we know, Arach Jalaal is in on the issue with Uldren.

Hey listen, don’t get me wrong I’m FWC at heart. Always have been, always will. And trust me I very much dislike DO, I don’t like your idea of run away from the problem. Chances are, it’s gonna come get ya in the end. But I gotta give ya some credence. Mainly cause you’re not New Monarchy. You believe in a system that isn’t a dictatorship and at least you guys helped save lives during the red war. But that doesn’t excuse your use of, or really your [b]lack[/b] of use of, your fleet. You guys could help turn the tides of battle man. Jeez what happened to hope.

FWC saved lives during the attack and if the tower had believed their prediction of a massive war then there would be very few casualties.

That could prove to be quite limiting against the darkness...the cabal...the hive.........the hive....Bro I do not want to face a worm god without light. 2. The last time someone tried to flee earth...they BECAME the reef... I 100% agree with you on FWC and though I support NM I also agree with you on the dumb politics.
