Alright, yes, there are a great many issues in and around the Crucible as a whole. I'm not here to rage about those. What I want in the crucible is very simple and relatively easy to do I would imagine:
GIVE ME AN OPTION TO TURN OFF THE CRUCIBLE ANNOUNCER!!!
It's frustrating beyond words to be in rando group against a clan, get spawn killed, get rekt because one of your players leaves, etc., but then to have the damn announcer, whoever it may be, shouting the most ignorant of encouragement or reprimand or comments about a game that clearly is nothing like what the announcer thinks is happening is the straw that gives this guardian an rage induced migraine.
A fine example, competitive, group of solo bros versus a clan, one solo leaves half way into first round, no one on my team trying to get heavy, full disaster. Then the score screen loads...
"Victory was but a hairs breadth away" ~ Shaxx
No it @##$ing wasn't Shaxx. And trust that Saladin is no better.
Please, for the love of all that's good, give me a little check box somewhere in the options menu to turn the crucible announcer off.
EDIT: After much irritation, I have found that turning the volume down on dialogue/cinematic volume, you can effectively mute them, but the trade off is that you mute it for literally EVERYTHING. Still want that checkbox Bungie!
