A figure stood on top of a tower, surrounded by a spiraling staircase. The sky above it was filled with dark wisps, and they covered the blood-red sun. Sunlight could barely be seen seeping through the clouds of wisps. Light was scarce in this region of DarkSpire. The figure was cloaked, but its face could be seen. Its eyes were dark red, and its hair was silver. The silver hair draped the figure’s back. It also bore a scar on its left eye, and its teeth glowed blue. Bones of the figure could be seen through its skin, especially its cheekbones. Wrinkles were present all over its face. Behind it was another humanoid figure. It had long black hair tied back into a ponytail. It was covered in black leather armor, with ebony boots and gauntlets. It had normal colored eyes, with red irises, and dust covered its face. A long black cape protruded from its neck, just below its hair, and it held a bow in its left hand, its fingers covered in a black glove. It was of a thin build. It began to speak in a feminine voice...
“I’ve awoken Alphos. The damn thing must’ve went off track though. When it was aroused, it started to go in the opposite direction from the tower. I tried to stop it but-“
The cloaked figure in front of the feminine figure suddenly unsheathed a black sword, with golden designs on the blade. Its bony hands grasped the hilt as it spoke in an otherworldly voice...
“Ebony... you know that I don’t accept excuses. You’ve seen the failure that Zen had become. He let Flammaetoris die. So, I impaled him in the stomach, telling him not to let me down again. Now, he’s downright scared of me, and he rushed over to revive the next dragon. Don’t let it happen to you, too. Find Alphos. It is quite a specimen for my army. I must have it. Bring it DarkSpire Tower. I will use it to pry open the portal. And then... we will conquer other worlds... yes...”
The feminine figure, Ebony, responded in a slightly scared tone...
“Y-yes Draksos. It will.... it will be done...”
And with that, Ebony fades into the shadows. She becomes a wisp, and the wisp travels down the spiraling staircase. Draksos continues to stare at the sky, slightly smiling as he sheathes his blade...
“Oh Alphos... how I’ve missed your oath for destruction....” it says in a raspy tone...

The room was filled with fifteen figures, with three sitting at another table. They could be seen chattering as a bartender, TexasJedi, brought them drinks. The small group of three sat next to a small countertop. Behind that countertop were small vats filled with interesting liquids. TexasJedi could be seen filling up a wooden mug with black liquid. He stroked his thin brown beard as he walked over to a group of twelve, sitting behind the small group of three...
“Here ya go, lad. A specialty drink from DarkSpire, Dark Brew. Take it from me as a thanks.” Said TexasJedi as he passed the cup over to Cell-3.
TexasJedi turned around and grabbed a tray from behind him, and on top of it were eleven more cups...
“Don’t worry, I’ve got drinks for you all!” Says the bartender as he passed the cups of Dark Brew around.
ImmaDrizzit held a look of excitement as he was handed a cup, and he chugged it down almost immediately. Phoenix stared at him with a look of uncertainty. MagicSpaceKitty groaned as she tried to grab her cup from the tray, only to fall on the floor. Scott, her wyvern, whined and tried to prop her back up on the chair...
“I’m afraid that your injuries are far worse than I thought they were. You really should rest...” Says Diana, who helped her get back up on the chair and handed her the cup of sizzling liquid. Deatheater had suffered a similar injury, and some blood could still be seen pouring down from his chest. Artemis stood next to him, with a worried look on her face. Foofer started to talk to TotallyNotThor as the druid tried to position his cup away from Onyxia, his wolf, who was snapping at the cup, eager to try some of the liquid. ManofLight took five sips from his cup before gently putting it down. Hammerfist was too busy tending to his sword to see the cup of liquid in front of him. Robo Owl looked at his cup in confusion. He took the cup and put it inside his mech, storing it for later...
“Now... you’ve all taken a glimpse of Alphos, correct?” Says Cell-3, trying to gather everyone’s attention.
“No. Of course not. That thing wasn’t visible at all.” Says ManofLight.
“Alright then. So you did see that monstrosity. If we don’t stop Alphos, you might as well kiss the other dimensions goodbye. I don’t know how it was awoken, but we need to stop it. Fortunately for us, it decided to return to its nesting place. That wound we made in its mouth should buy us some time. But we need to keep Alphos away from DarkSpire tower.” Says Cell-3, eyeing each member of the team around him with a serious look.
