It has always been a given that the attunement of hunger tree completely overshadows the chaos tree, in the voidwalker skill tree. The perks in the hunger tree work together really well and are never situational. Why not give the chaos tree the same perk synergy. Grant the chaos tree melee the ability to reacharge super energy, like energy drain from destiny 1, so that it kind of negates, or reduces, the cost of using chaos accelerant. The amount of super given, in my opinion, should be atleast the cost of fully charging the grenade. I would really love to hear everyones thoughts as i love this subclass and would love to see it being more viable

The Hunger tree has been proven to been weaker overall, likely due to the fact that hunger gains back health per kill. Bloom could be better on the Chaos tree (such as decreased cooldown on melee when enemies are killed via Bloom), but overall the Hunger tree is a bit underwhelming. Perhaps letting Vortexbomb and Vortex Grenades last longer would be a proper tune up.

A given? I never use bottom tree. The whole build is around staying alive at the expense of damage. 🤭 If anything it’s the bottom tree that needs a rework.

Slowva bomb does more damage than vortex though, especially in EP

I see a lot of people using it in p2 EoW. I assume it’s because they can’t aim dawnblade.

All they need to do for the Attunement of Chaos is give is back Embrace the Void, even if it doesn’t come with health regen. In D1, getting a kill with any ability would immediately recharge your grenade. That was incredibly powerful [b]and fun[/b] in PvE because you could just run around lobbing grenades everywhere. Adding it back would further make Chaos the “offensive” tree with powerful grenades, and Hunger would still be the “defensive” tree with devour.

The melee already grants a significant amount of grenade energy. I'd much prefer that to some minor return of super energy.

I would also like to see the triple nova back instead of the stupid slova bomb. Maybe that’s just me tho
