I've seen people say that D2 doesn't have hero moments because the TTK is too slow. While I agree that the TTK should be closer to 1 second flat, I also don't want the return of luck in the chamber hand cannons two tapping people in the Crucible. Montage moments are not the same as Hero Moments.
You have to remember that almost everyone in the crucible has been through what you have. They are also saviors of the entire dang universe, and have literally killed gods. On the receiving end of every D1 hero moment, there is another savior of the galaxy dying to two bullets to the head. That's how I felt towards the end of D1. How is it that I'm the baddest MF in the galaxy, but I get killed in under half a second by a Legendary weapon?!
Hero Moments should come from the things that make us heroes in the first place, abilities. I'm a friggin Space Wizard that can control the powers of nature on my whim. Oh what's this? Oh, it's just me going full-on Sith and shooting lighting from my fingertips. Hey you! Look out below cause I just sprouted wings of fire and will now rain death upon you with fire swords. You know what this situation could use? A god damned localized singularity spawned from void energy!
I think grenade, melee, and super energy should charge faster so we have more up-time with our abilities. I'm fine with the damage they currently do, I just wish I could use them more often. I'm a Wizard dang it, ya gotta let me shine!
