[spoiler]i have never wrote a action part yet, so this might be a terrible mess or a stroke of genius [/spoiler] Scourge of the vampire part two. The full moon is high in the sky In the cold, foggy night. A group of adventures stood ready in a badly planned defensive stance. The night is filled with a eerie silence. TTT the Paladin has his shield and sword at the ready. Texas jedi the cleric was saying a prayer to the gods, one hand rested on a sword belt. Manoflight had his bow out with a arrow notched. Cell-3 has two daggers in his hands. Summer nazo has his tree club in both hands, and was ready. Hammerfist had two bolts of dark energy in his hands, his talking skull the verminator was resting on his shoulders, and John the demons hands where on fire. ImaDrizzit the bards rapier was in hands, his eyes darting left and right, looking for any signs of monsters. A howl seems to erupt in the in the night sky, but no werewolf is seen. “Do you Guys think something will happen?” Drizzit asks. “No, totally not like the vampire lord is going to give a big speech about entertainment and let something happen to us” Manoflight says sarcastically. A low growling comes from the woods, not even 50 feet away from the group. Suddenly a werewolf runs out of the forest, it’s grey main of fur shining in the moonlight, drool dripping out of its huge mouth filled with long, sharp fangs. TTT and summer nazo let out a battle cry and charge at the beast. The spellcasters in the back start throwing bolts of fire and darkness while man of light begins firing at the werewolf with his bow. “Guys? What should I do?!” Drizzit calls to his team, but gets no response. “Darkness haunts this night, a light must be brought to extinguish it” Texas jedi says and drizzit just looks at him funny. __________________________________ Meanwhile, summer nazo swings his wooden club and the werewolf, smashing the beast over the head and the club shatters. The beast racks it’s claws at the barbarian, only to be blocked by the Paladin shield. A arrow hits the werewolf in the shoulder and a burst of dark energy floods its body, complement of hammerfist. “Good shot” the verminator says from hammerfist shoulder. The werewolf growls and wildly swings it’s clawed arms around, knocking the Barbarian to the ground and sending the Paladin flying. The vicious beast runs up to Manoflight and hammerfist, determined to shred them into pieces, when it howls in pain as two knives emerge into its back. Cell-3 holds onto the knifes, trying to stay on the beast like riding a bull. The werewolf shakes cell-3 off and he tumbled to the ground. The werewolf looks as hammerfist, when a arrow pounds into its chest, which causes a mini explosion inside the werewolf. That distraction Gave the Paladin enough time To Stab his longsword through the werewolf head, killing the beast. “That was two easy” Manoflight Mutters. ——————————————— ImaDrizzit, Texas, and John the demon watch the combat from afar. The warriors really killed the werewolf before they had a chance to help. The three started walking to there teammates, when more growling Came from behind them. They turned around to see a lot of different werebeasts. “Werelions, weretigers, werebears, oh my!” Drizzit says, looking at three very vicious creatures. one of them was a weretiger, a mix of tiger and person, a terrible beast. The other creature was a werelion, a terrible bone chilling roar comes out of the creatures maned head. And in the center of the two monsters, there was a werebear, a giant beast that took the form o a bear. Drizzit takes out his lute, and begins singing a song. The other two adventures are confused, until they realize that his song has a hypnotic pull on the animals beasts. Texas jedi pulls out his sword and launches a bolt of divine energy at a weretiger. While James unleashed a onslaught of fire on a werelion. The werebear was unaffected by any of the magic and began charging at drizzit, and the bard closes his eyes, expecting him to breath is last. A couple moments later, drizzit opens his eyes and finds that he isn’t dead. In front of him, summer nazo tackled the bear in a fit of pure rage and began to wrestle the monster on the ground. The beast opens its huge jaw prepared to bite the barbarians head of. The barbarian screams, he screams because of rage, because of determination, and mostly just to scream. He rest his hands on the werebears head, holding the beasts bite back. Nazo twists his hands, and a loud snapping sound is heard, and the bears dead body falls limp on the barbarians body. ——————————————— Next to the barbarians wrestling match, the weretiger (werewolf tiger) gracefully dodged the clerics magic. Texas swings his sword at the monster, but the monster deflects with his clawed hand, ripping the sword out of the clerics hand. Drizzit starts poking the monster with his sharp rapier, but it really doesn’t do much. The waretiger swipes at the cleric, knocking him into the bard. Triple T the Paladin runs up to the creature, shield bashing it in the knee. Texas summoned a bolt of light and threw it in the beasts eyes, blinding it. While drizzit stabbed the beast in the throat, and TTT slashed at it in the Stomach. ———————————————— James continued to shoot a ray of fire at the monster he was fighting. But the werelion soldier through it, walking up to the demon. The demon starts walking backwards and a arrow strikes the lion beast. The demon stuck out his arm to roast the monster, when the werelion Grabes his arm and yanked it hard, breaking some bones. Then the monster throws the demon and he lands somewhere near Manoflights feet. The arcane archer continued shooting at the last monster. But this one is resilient. The beast continues forward, while at the same tim cell-3 jumped over a crouching man of light, and stabbed both of his daggers in the werelions eyes. The beast howls in pain before it falls over dead. The battle ends and most of the group picks them selfs up. James try’s to move his arm, but it’s both dislocated as broken. Summer nazo returns to the group, filled with scratch marks from the werebears. The rest of the team is bartered and tired. While Texas jedi works on the demons arm, ImaDrizzit sings a song of healing, stopping the bleeding of the teams minor injury’s. “So what’s next?” triple t the Paladin asks “We need rest” cell-3 says “We need to kill the vampire lord” Texas jedi starts to argue. “Listen” Came the verminators voice from inside hammerfist backpack” we are not ready to face the vampire lord” the talking skull says. “We need to find methods to kill him, but now we need rest” TTT says. “And how are we supposed to kill him?” hammerfist asks “Maybe there is a magic item or something that is the name of vampires” TTT suggests. “And we will just find one sitting out of the ground with a sign that says take one” man of light says sarcastically. “Guys, we can worry about killing the vampire later. Right now we need to find a place to rest. It’s dangerous out here but we need rest.” “And where do you suggest we do that, the local hotel?” Manoflight says. “What if we find a nearby cave?” Cell-3 suggests. “Or we could march to the nearest town” hammerfist says. The team of adventures continues arguing, trying to find out what they should do next. When more figures walk out of the bushes. The adventures become surrounded by a entire pack of beast infected with lycanthropy. Leading the group is a pale skinned human, with glowing red eyes and a bushy beard. In one of his hands is a battle axe. “I see you have killed members of my pack, they where weak anyways. But I’m going to have to get vengeance on them anyways” the pack leader says to the adventures “Just leave us alone, we mean you no harm” the Paladin says “But leaving you alone would be boring, plus we are hungry, adventures flesh’s taste the best” the pack Leader says, licking his lips. The adventures start backing up. Each one had there Separate skills able to defeat a couple werewolf, but they where severely outnumbered and already injured. James lifts his one not broken arm into the air, creating a wall of fire in front of The werewolf’s. Hammerfist summons a lot of mindless skeletons to attack the werewolf. The others where getting ready to attack, when the werewolf’s charged at the adventures, swarming then. After just a couple moments, the words “FALL BACK” could be heard from multiple of the hero’s and the adventures decided to run. They manage to outrun the werewolf’s, and hide in a nearby cave, where they begin resting and healing. The moon was still high in the misty sky, and with the werewolf’s on the hunt close by, the adventures fate would be closing in.
