Can we talk about the new "shoulder charge" for striker in Forsaken?
Seismic Strike, Hammer Strike, and Shield bash play a very important role in the neutral game of Titans, 50% of it is mobility and 50% is for an effect like grenade regen, debuffing, or making others wonder why your playing bottom tree Sentinel.
In the Forsaken game-play clips, when a striker uses the new "death from above" style charge whether it hits an enemy or not it uses the charge and you no longer have access to the ability. This is a very bad thing because it puts another "wet blanket" on the power fantasy as well as it being inconsistent with the other charges.
If Bungie wants the're new sublcasses to be shiny and appealing this NEEDS to be changed to be inline with the other charges, if they dont change it i feel like the subclass be relegated to a one off experience until they realize it needs to be changed and switch some stuff 4 months into Forsaken. Lets get this feedback looked at now so we can get a polished and fun product in September.

1 ReplyI wouldn't be against this at all. Superman diving 24/7 in PvE seems fun. And in PvP it'd be insanely predicatble as long as you know they're using that skilltree for Striker, as it'd only be effective in certain areas with steep drops. Imagine a Striker using Lift to go high off the map towards the bridge on Legion's Gulch from the side, and then slamming down onto the bridge as a new form of map travesrsal. It reminds me of using Shoulder Charge through one of the tiny cracks in the bottom hallway towards B Flag on Twilight Gap for a new route most don't expect.
