To Bungie Staff,
Look I've taken a long break from D2 and I mean a long break( the curse of Osiris) because It got bland tasteless and repetitive. I hope something comes out of the Forsaken DLC but I would like to make some things clear. I loved D1 and promoted the game through the good and the bad. D2 vanilla killed all my hopes of What destiny was to become. After watching the forsaken trailer these thoughts have crossed my mind.
1: we need good enough reason to come back not PvP changes not bring back our D1 arsenal but true storytelling like we were told we would get all the way back in D1.
2: We would love to see new and involved characters and locations- We do not want to see a reused content area like the mars terrain and or the Prison of elders, you can very well expand on those areas but We do not want to see a reused area from D1 just in slightly different lighting and textures. If you bring areas back just use the original tiles and don't advertise it as "new content"
3: bring forward some real character development- Now I know this might sound critical but we don't want to see characters like Cade, Zavala ,Ikora, and other characters turned into hollow shells. We want to see a meaningful sense of pain when we see the loss of a vanguard or other characters.
It would be nice to know our voices were heard. I talked with a bunch of D1 players who quit around the same time I did for many reasons there are so many points this post could go on and on but this summarizes the most important points to bring supporters like us back. We don't want to see a game that we all loved die because of hallow and meaningless DLC and developer choices.
Thank you.
