First, I want to tell you, that I don't mind it because I think we really needed it. It was a fine addition to Destiny 2 since people wanted it in D1. The main and real reason for my post is a much more deeper.
To start from the right point, I want to tell you that I'm the leader of a high populated clan (100 members, 15-20 active per day). One of our members is a woman which was born mute (she can't speak).
I never played with her until today in EP. As she wrote me that she isn't able to speak from her birth I was a bit surprised. Also I was glad that Bungie added the emote wheel with Warmind DLC because it helps her a lot to communicate with Guardians without writing each sentence to everyone per xbox live messages.
Right now she uses in the top slot the "yes/agreed" emote to express yes. In the lower slot she uses the opposite emote for expressing no. In the left emote slot she uses the busy emote with the smartphone to say "afk" and in the emote slot on the right side she uses the fireworks emote to express feelings like lol or happiness.
So thanks Bungie, for adding this and helping my clanmate to communicate in many situations.
