Bit of a Precursor before I start. - I work full time. - I am a filthy cazual. - I am at 56 Dead Orbit Rank just doing the ornaments and milestones. No other grind. - I have all Ornaments from Dead Orbit for this season. I figured I'd post a few things I found useful when grinding these ornaments as it seems Dead Orbit has the hardest grind. Seen a lot on the reddit posts that I disagree with. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Head: Titan / Warlock / Hunter: Just farm Heroic Events + Patrols, cash in at Lost sectors. This is a no brainer. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Arms: Titan: 50 taken kills with grenades. 2 methods: 1. Lost Sectors w. Hallowfire spaming grenades. 2. Postmodern Prometheus w. Grenades. Hallowfire Titan or Double Grenade Striker. I went with Postmodern Striker. Sat on a rock whilst they gathered below me and dropped the nade their head. Warlock: Precision Kills against Fallen. Aim for their little faces and shoot. Trostland, is a good place to sit. Can also get the HVTs at the same time. Chill with Devrim in his tower and take pot shots if ya want. Hunter: Melee Kills. Seen people say to be an arc strider. This is bugged. The way I completed this was as a Gunslinger: Way of the Sharpshooter + Gambler's dodge + Ophidia Spathe. Go to Mars: Braytech Futurescape. The hive here can be 1 shot with a throwing knife to the face. Just go from the landing zone all the way left, through to the building and down into the lost sector. Can kill almost everything in there with a knife to the face. The knife reloads if you get a precision kill. If you miss, but kill anyway, use the dodge skill near an enemy to get 2 knives back. Quick and painless unless you have terrible aim. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Chest: Titan: Just do Heroic Events. This is a no brainer Warlock: HVT's. This one has been said all over the forums and reddit. EDZ between Trostland and Winding cove. Locate the HVT, has to be the one that spawns with the message and not the yellow bars that spawn with the faction war in Trostland. Kill the HVT, load the area straight away, kill again or loot the box if it is still there. I managed to get a streak of 4. But mostly 2. Hunter: Multi-Kills w. Super. Lot of people say to go to a Heroic Event, load up your Arcstrider super and then dive into a lost sector. I personally found this tedious and time consuming. got to 40% doing it this way, and it was taking a good few hours. I decided to load up the Postmodern Prometheus quest in Io as it gives you (near) infinite super. Sat there for half an hour killing Taken in groups of 3 (anything less and it wont count) and it took me half an hour to get the rest of the way. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Feet: Titan / Hunter / Warlock: See Head ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Class Item: Titan / Hunter / Warlock: Go to designated lost sector, kill boss, loot chest. No brainer.
