Got Destiny 2 and been loving it, in fact cant stop playing the last week. Then just seen the Forsaken expansion preview and thought may grab that, but then...
Hidden in its pre-order info is this:
"Destiny 2 game, Destiny 2 expansions I & II required to play, sold separately."
Now that's milking fans for another £33.68 just for pre-req DLC of your game to get more money and nothing else!
Secondly, games like ESO bring out expansions and provide the base game with them every time. Why does Forsaken not come with the base Destiny 2 game at £34.99?
To milk more money from it games fans!
So now Blizzard and Activision are becoming another EA, congrats guys, hope your very proud!
I think I just wait a year or more for a deal, not that desperate to give you another £33.68 just to get DLC, just so I can play the expansion. Sorry Blizzard and Activision you just getting to greedy!

So. I’m gonna take a guess. You work for free? Serious question.

Edited by Peloquinsoul: 6/8/2018 3:50:05 PMIt's not hidden though, it's where it would be in any games advertising. It's also fairly normal practice. If you didn't need the dlcs, they couldn't ever do anything with Mercury or Mars going forward. They've also stated there will be more purchasing options for people without the dlc.

Edited by SmashvilleViking: 6/8/2018 3:56:31 PMExpansions are not part of the "base game"... Why does WoW charge $10 a month, then $50 for every expansion that comes out? Also, ESO Does Not provide the base game with every expansion. You should fact check before you post again
