I made a realization that I think most people to need realize aswell, Bungie isn't f**king up, well they are but, its because Activision does it. Activision is ruining the destiny series, everyones hating on Bungie but Activision is doing the dirty work. Bungie would excel without them, every DLC is high price because of Activision, every DLC seems incomplete and not refined because of Activision, the DLC are bad because of Activision. Remember back when Bungie wasn't constantly under control by Activision, remember when the made the Halo games. They have proved they can make masterpieces, but with Activision on their back it will mostly remain impossible.

Everyone on this post, I found a video recently and I thought of this.... here is the video. https://youtu.be/P1T__yrloCY

They shoulda stuck to making halo

Activision/Blizzard is a terrible company like all the rest. People need to realize that. They also need to not take what tabloids say to heart. Holding bungie accountable is agreeable, but not when it's based on anonymous sources. People need to actually do some homework before running their mouths, and water is wet. More at 11.

Activision made gaming great. /thread.
-
Yeah. Bungie needs to pull their head out of their ass and make a new game. The Destiny franchise (I liked the first one though) is pretty much a morgue because the player base is dying.
-
Bungie's downfall began with Reach when they were still under Microsoft
-
You only got down voted because a lot of these idiots are fans of Cod. Activision is just as bad as EA.
-
It's on bungies end they shouldn't had went the casual gaming way as for microtransactions and free dlcs idk yet.
-
I'm sorry, so Activision is the reason they gutted the game between D1 and D2? Activision is the reason Bungie can't balance weapons, can't implement a proper end game, can't implement a proper RNG system, can't make a proper campaign for the game, all these development issues are the fault of the PUBLISHER? I'm no Activision fan, but the issues with this game have not shit to do with Activision and everything to do with a piss poor development process. The one thing I think Activision did stick it's fat nose in is the microtransaction system, that has Activision written all -blam!-ing over it. But nothing else can even be remotely blamed on them
-
#Destiny No, Bungie did all this by even thinking about signing up with Activision. Bungie is the one who fired Marty and the ones who made D1 vanilla bad and made Jason quit. Bungie is the one who rebooted D1's lore. Bungie is the one who rebooted both D1 and D2. Bungie is the one who casualised the crap out of Destiny 2.

Here's what I don't get Bungie seems so unable to do basic communication and remain honest At all While you have small companies like d.e with much lower budgets that are constantly on the ball with communications/updates/feedback I think bungie has an ego problem They think of themselves as bigger than their player base But it's the players that pay their mortages

I don’t buy it. “Content is hard to make”, actually suggesting enverse themselves, making poor quality content that publishers don’t touch, I can go on. What Bungie used to do in the past I.E. is irrelevant as most of those guys are gone and have been gone, Bungies staff went to shit since reach. Furthermore all I ever see is publisher blame, oh it’s “EA this”, “Activision that”, “Ubisoft this” when do developers get the bulk of the blame?
-
When You Make A Deal With The Devil....
Bungie signed on to Activision. There is no-one else to blame.
-
Ruined not ruining...
-
Disagree, believe it’s all Bungie
-
Sorry, but you just realized this? Activision riding Bungie has been going on since before the release of Destiny 1.

Ruined*

Nope. I'm pretty sure it's Bungo. If they still had a spine we could talk. ...maybe you should move this to #feedback.
