Why do our guardians not speak?
I have been sort of confused as to why our guardians do not speak. I know they have a voice because of Destiny 1. In Destiny 2 I get nothing. Is there some sort of lore I'm missing? Please someone enlighten me or feel free to chime in.
I feel like we are ghost and playing as a puppeteer controlling the guardian body.

The boring but most likely answer is that Bungie probably decided it wasn't worth the time and money it would cost to schedule 6 different voice actors to read the same lines. That coupled with the extremely tight development cycle they're struggling with would make it hard to even have the time to schedule them all.
