I have no interest in the Iron Banner emote, frankly I don't think it deserves to be an exotic, because it doesn't look that good, lazy design... this is my opinion, you may disagree and that is your perogative.
But, it's just another item in-game that Bungie has locked in the banks of Eververse.
An Iron banner themed emote...
Released during Iron Banner...
...So why isn't it an Iron Banner reward?
Activision, you are pushing your luck with microtransactions. I sincerely hope that Guardians will pass over this ridiculously priced ripoff, considering most used video games at Gamestop cost less. I understand that you have a business to run and people to pay, but when all the fun and interesting emotes items and gear have been monetized, players will be fewer and you will have to monetize more. At some point you will not have the player count to support your services and game. New releases may pad and delay this slippage, but ultimately this is a snowball that will not stop rolling, and it will be the end of your game. Not quickly, not with a great fanfare, the earth will not open and swallow the studio, but as monetization drives more players away, and if players refuse to buy them, the decline we become far more evident.

Less reliance on RNG, more access to better loot. In my opinion, if they wanna sell an emote in order to ensure my future content is better, let them. Activision is now focused on Black Ops 4, until it crashes and burns like the previous 4 Call of Duty games
