My gods it’s been terrible since the start of the effing game. Your shield does not hit properly against any opponent whether that be in PVE OR PVP. You hear the sound, you see the enemy get pushed, but no damage. I’m tired of struggling to unleash an entire combo on anyone to see them walk or jump unscathed.

Cannot upvote this enough, most of the time I just pop a bubble instead at least that way I don’t waste my super and look dumb as hell hitting people and doing no damage

Don't forget shoulder charge. My hair is growing faster than the shoulder charge of a sentinel. Bungie logic: we have 3 shoulder charges, buff 2 of them and the weakest class gets nothing.

Yeah and how EVERY other super out there one shots you and one cant kill people sometimes with 2 or 3 shield hits

They need to buff shield throw damage, fix hit registration, reduce flinch when being shot at while blocking, reduce the effect when blocking (you can't see shit), increase shields speed when thrown, and add combos like arcstrider has. These supers that have one or two attack patterns are boring as hell to play, striker and sunbreaker being what I'm referring to

It’s bad you’re right. But it’s only bad from the ground. If you’re using the super while grounded then you’re using it wrong.

I've been a defender titan since year 1. Been maining sentinel this whole time in D2. There are ways to use the sentinel that can make it very powerful. A big thing is never do melee attacks on the ground. While you are in the air the hit registration is waaaaaaay better. Also make use of the block. Sentinel titans can survive alot of things that other supers can't because of the block. I have made alot of kills with the sentinel super where I would have been mowed down as a striker titan. It is a good super. Now in super vs super you need to get creative. One on one the sentinel tends to be somewhat weaker vs alot of other supers. That is okay due to its versatility. It can do things other supers can't, so it makes sense that it isn't quite the dps powerhouse of some of the others. It is not the strongest super, but it works well if you play to its strengths. The bubble DEFINITELY needs work though.

I would also suggest that the Shield Thrown should also have limited tracking, on par with the Warlocks "Attunement of Flame" solar blade seeking. It won't be as bad as the Seeking Nova bomb, but it could bend a few degrees if the enemy moves.

Or just don’t play it because playing sentinel is an insult to what it used to be.

It actually hits stuff it isn't supposed to. It annoying jumping above and behind a sentinel and still getting hit with the 2nd bash hit. Hit registration on arcstrider is a whole other problem.

Fix all hit registration. After 3 hits you pass through enemies.

This is why you shield throw only or you do the air combos because they seem more reliable even if they are unreliable. You just can't win. Against an Arcstrider? You will probably waste your super hitting nothing only to be killed by the Arcstrider.

Sentinel needs this to be changed I lost too many times to literally anyone that for some reason doesn’t take damage from hits. The throw definitely needs some sort of tracking because it doesn’t hit ******************************************************** Too many times man too many. We sentinels are the inferior melee super class hands down. (Shield hits blade of grass. ABSOLUTELY MISS TARGET BY 50yrds)
